Great so far

I was concerned about some shipping damage to the cardboard carton. Upon opening the box there was no discernible damage, so I finished unpacking, plugged in the battery, added included oil, and hooked up the propane regulator. It started with a touch of a button. I’ve since tried multiple loads, including a 1hp compressor, 1200 watt heat gun and numerous saws. So far everything has worked beautifully. I’ve also been running it for the last 7 hrs on gasoline. I’ve started it with the key fob, and the pull starter, everything has been as hoped for. Very pleased on this first day.

Great features and quiet!

Unpacking and setup was easy. I have only had it for one day. Have tested startup on gasoline and propane under minimal load with no issues. Used the electric start which was very nice. Also tested the pull start which was easy but it was after the generator was already warm. Will have to test when engine is cold or better yet make sure the battery stays charged. Very nice, feature rich generator. My only frustration was adding the initial oil. Instruction said add engine oil before starting. Specs said oil capacity is 0.6 liters. The supplied bottle of 10w30 oil was labeled 0.6 liters. Poured entire bottle of oil into engine using the supplied screw-in funnel. Removed supplied funnel and engine was overfilled spilling oil into the generator shroud and leaking oil onto the garage floor. Very frustrating. The supplied screw-in opaque funnel inhibits you from seeing the oil level while pouring the oil into the engine.

First Generator

As my first (maybe only?) generator, I wanted to plan for it to take care of every need I might have. When the school bus is remodeled, it will be my home. Being mobile, not knowing where I'll be, if noise restrictions would be an issue, or what fuel options I'll have, I wanted to be prepared for any contingency, able to send energy to as many appliances as necessary. So far I've run a handful of tools to include angle grinders and a 120V welder off of it, and have zero issues.

Everything I was look for

I bought this unit to run my RV at my off grid camp. My first genset was a 3500 predator. which was under powered at times. I needed more power to run my A/C and other appliances in the summer. I also wanted the L.P. connection, and remote start. the igen 4500 dual fuel fit the bill. also very happy you can buy this unit with out the co monitor, as I keep the genset in an enclosure. plus the handle is very handy. My camp is all grass and this rolls easy on the grass to the enclosure

Light weight and super powerful, great features !

I liked my brothers Westinghouse 4500 he uses for his B-Class RV so much I purchased one for my 5TH Wheel RV. One note of interest we used his to run what we needed at our lakeside RV site for both his Class B and a 29' Travel Trailer piggy backed for an overnighter. The 4500 did an incrediblly awesome job.

It’s a generator

Interesting that they offer you a generator cover if you leave a review when you register the product. When you haven’t had time to even try it, they want a review. Seems a little bizarre to me. So first impressions… I like that the oil bottle holds just the right amount to fill it up. It was a bit messy, but there is a nice threaded funnel that really helps. I got oil all over my hands, but not all over the generator. I started it on propane, but haven’t put any gas in it. It took a few pulls for first start. The starter doesn’t work, so I will find out fast how customer service is to deal with. It is quiet. I hooked a space heater up an it works. It seems like the marketing videos show them hooking propane up to a quick connect, but you need a wrench. The wrench included doesn’t fit the either of the propane regulator or hose fittings, so I am not sure what that wrench is for yet. I think it is weird that they don’t ship the high altitude kit with it. They want you to buy that separately on the website. I was able to find a propane kit but not a carb kit. They don’t even sell one. It is crazy that they even sell generators in high altitude areas that are not ready to run in that area. Time to call customer service and see if I can get some help with the starter.

Great mid-sized RV generator

Bought for a new 5th wheel. Had a 12000 watt Westinghouse for a home back up but it was too big and heavy for the RV. This is a perfect size and power for our 30 foot 5th wheel. The 30 amp outlet and the wattage rating was able to run both ACs simultaneously. Super quiet for camp ground use. Very pleased.

iGen 11000TFc

I purchased this generator for my mobile food business. Had the iGen 4500 that we had used for camping for several years. I was so impressed with that one that I upgraded to the 11000 for my new food trailer. I've only had it a short time but so far it runs quietly and has no problem pulling the load of an AC, Fridge, Water heater, and a refrigerated prep rail. I could add more equipment to the trailer and the iGen11000 would have no problem with it.

AWESOME GENERATOR

Bought this for my daughter for the power size ratio so it was useful but light enough for her to move. It is very well thought out and engineered, easy to use, relatively quiet and great looking. She can roll it around easily though it take two to lift. Highly recommend.

Great product

Add oil, gas, connect battery then pulled slowly to distribute oil 3 times. Started first pull after that. Let it warm up then put some load on it. Electric and remote start work great. Plenty quiet, seems flawless thus far. The run time seems to beat others out there and I’m confident I can run everything I need to in my rv with this. Run time indicator is really useful. Has a solid well built feel to it and the handles and extendable handle are very sturdy.
