Purchased this last month and have tested it with our camp trailer and running a couple of appliances in our house incase of power outage. Works really well on gas as well as propane. The remote start and stop is really neat. No more getting out of a warm bed to start the generator while camping.

I bought my generator a little over a year ago and I was able to pull it out of storage and hook up propane to it and it fired right up. I really like the dual fuel option so that you don’t have to worry about gasoline going bad if you’re not using it regularly. It’s really quiet and easy to use.

I have searched the internet for a dual fuel Generator for my RV and to use around my home and other projects on my land that would require this size generator. This Westinghouse 4500DF fit exactly what i needed. I did the pre-start up service and attached a propane bottle and it started right up. I tested it out on a large electric jackhammer and it performed as intended. Happy to have this generator!

This generator is great and purrs like a kitten right out of the box. I use mainly propane and this one is super simple to get up and running on LPG. I had issues with comparable generators from other brands on LPG but so far, not a single hiccup with this one. Runs everything i need it to run ... Extremely happy with this one!

I bought this back in June to replace a similar duel fuel generator for my camper. We used it about 60 hours total so far and it has been sitting in my garage for the past 4 months. It started right up and I didn’t have to charge the battery to my surprise. I really love how it’s quiet when running the AC and how it gets quieter in ECO MODE!

Looks good so far. Fired right up on both gas and propane. I'm in process of running through break in period. Very easy to move around. The battery was a little tricky to get hooked up; need someone with small hands to get it into its place. Somewhat noisier than I'd hoped; I measure about 68dB at 25ft, but that's on a concrete patio with house on 2 sides, so probably not too bad. I'll normally run at 35 feet or so and expect noise to be not bad at all. The wireless start will be great for night time control.

Bought this generator about two months ago. It runs our TT A/C (13.5k) no problem on propane, and it almost runs the microwave together with the AC but will overload eventually. I wasn’t planning on trying to run both together anyway and was just my curiosity at work to see how strong this thing is. The remote start is great on cold mornings at the campsite and you want to microwave something. The only negative I have is that the idle was fluctuating a lot when I first fired it up on propane. On gas it was fine. With any load the idle was fine. We are at 7k elevation so I figured it was too rich. I paid more and ordered the high altitude orifice kit. It came with 4 different orifices for different elevations. I installed the one for our elevation and the idle was almost perfect, however it would not run any load over 2300 watts. So I put the original one back in and just adjusted the base idle up slightly which eliminated 90% of the idle issues. Overall for the price I’m happy with it. In addition this is the only dual fuel generator I could find with remote start. All the others only offered remote start on their gas only models.

I love how quiet and powerful this generator is. I really like the remote start so i can crank or shut down from inside my home or inside my RV! This is my 2nd unit and I have 300 flawless hours on the first one! I like the propane feature on this unit my first unit is only gas

I’m so glad I purchased this Westinghouse generator! It’s easy to start, provides great power with 30 amps 120 volt which is all I need since all of my home utilities are natural gas. I can get by with no oven and clothes dryer during a power outage. This keeps the lights on, hot water since it’s gas and even furnace that is gas. Nice and quiet and easy to move around, great for emergency backup.

I nearly purchased a competing inverter generator but chose this unit because it has: a) Much higher power output for the same cost; b) dual fuel -- VERY useful!; and c) Positive reviews including from my brother-in-law. I've only tested it so far (for about 30 minutes on about 2000 watt load) but it worked flawlessly on both fuel types. If it continues to function this way in the future, I will be a VERY pleased owner. (I wish I was as satisfied with the review webpage: its requirements for no ad blocking and no popups caused me lost time to figure out how to disable these security measures. Not cool...)
