I have a total of 15 hours on my new generator. I ran in for about 7 hours on propane and it worked great! I switched it to gasoline and it ran for about 8 hours. Just as I went to bed, the generator started sputtering and then died. Now it only turns over for 2 second or so. There's plenty of fuel. I've tried starting it approximately 50 times - it's a manual start only with no luck. I'm now sitting in a dark travel trailer with no power and 33% battery life on my phone - it's supposed to be below 30 tonight. The instruction manual only has basic steps like add more fuel and push the reset button. I even used 89 octane fuel. Highly disappointed!

I bought my Inverter Generator on January 8, 2025. Just did the break in period and completed the oil change with Mobile 1 Synthetic. It ran perfect during the break in and was very quiet just 10ft away. Looking forward to many great camping experiences with our new generator. I purchased this item as a home back up generator. I have an interlock installed on my panel. It runs everything in the house except the 240v items, which is fine because I knew this before purchasing. I am able to run two refrigerators/freezers, the microwave, electronics, and the lights with no issues.

Exactly what I wanted. Quieter and more powerful than my previous generator. Love the the fact that it works on propane or gas right out of the box. Speaking of the box, it was a little beat up during the shipping but proved to protect everything inside the box.

Just unpacked my new inverter/generator. They advertise it as being quiet….all expectations have been met. Connected the battery, added oils and fired it up. The remote start feature is great. No more having to leave the camper to turn on or off…which I look forward to when it's chilly, rainy or dark. Can't wait to use it on my next trip!

This Westinghouse iGen4000DFc dual fuel generator offers so much flexibility during a power outage. Running a generator can really make a difference in a difficult situation. Having backup power brings real peace of mind, especially during Southern California Power Outages. It's a great investment for any homeowner.

I only have about one hour on it. Set up was relatively easy. Even though they provide an excellent screw in funnel, adding oil was a little messy. (definitely stuff a rag under while adding oil.) My only minor complaint is that it seems a bit louder than other "quiet" inverter type generators that my friends have. Other than that, I am very happy so far.

I loved this unit so much that I went out and bought a second one, and it has worked flawlessly. I am very happy. This is the dual-fuel model, so I tried it on propane, and the transition from propane to gas worked great also. It is a highly recommended unit.

We have frequent power outages & with a special needs son we needed to be able to run tv& video games for him. Since this is an iGen that runs at 4200 watts on LP, it handles our watts to keep the electronics, internet & essential kitchen items all working. A big plus is being able to use remote/electric start especially for us senior citizens.

I have two other larger generators, but they are loud and have horrible harmonic distortion. That means the power being produced is "dirty." The Westinghouse iGen4500DF produces great clean power. I started the generator using propane, to start the genetator couldn't be easier. After adding the oil. I connected a propane tank with the included hose and regulator, turned the unit on and then pushed the start button. It was like pushing a push button the start your car! It started up and it was so QUIET. I added a couple of space heaters, it automatically increased RPMs to handle the load. It actually shows what percentage of available watts are be used. So many great features my other units don't have. Now I did read some reviews that talk about the auto choke not operating properly, not so with my unit. Bottom line: highly impressed with the unit and highly recommended.
