Just recieved this a few ago. Put oil in, hooked up propane, and it started right up. I will have a chance to use it this weekend. Runs very quiet. Seems to be heavier than advertised. It is a heavey 105lbs. Rolling it around is easy, but you will need 2 people to load/unload unit if using it for travel.

I nearly purchased a competing inverter generator but chose this unit because it has: a) Much higher power output for the same cost; b) dual fuel -- VERY useful!; and c) Positive reviews including from my brother-in-law. I've only tested it so far (for about 30 minutes on about 2000 watt load) but it worked flawlessly on both fuel types. If it continues to function this way in the future, I will be a VERY pleased owner. (I wish I was as satisfied with the review webpage: its requirements for no ad blocking and no popups caused me lost time to figure out how to disable these security measures. Not cool...)

I was totally shocked that the iGen4500DF truly rose to the occasion when I took it out onto the road and deep into the wilderness with zero access to AC power. It performed exactly as if I was plugged in at an rv park, powering up my air condioner in 100° heat. Only used 50% of it's capacity with the air running and all my gadgets charging at once! Microwave seemed to heat my food up hotter and faster which surprised me even more. The level of sophistication of this smart genarator when it comes to the key fob electric start, and its monitoring display essentially letting you know everything that is going on with your unit while in operation is top notch. It annihilates any and all dummy gensets including my freakishly loud Coleman Powermate. The eco setting keeps it quiet and almost as peaceful as the super pricey Hondas. Hoping for many high powered camping days ahead! Might take forever to be delivered but it's worth the wait...

Just got my generator. Added some synthetic oil and fuel and it fired right up. Had to use it immediately because we had apower outage due to huge snow storm. Worked great. Also tried out the propane feature and the unit started right up..no issues so far. Gave it a 4* because it is still new and I haven't had enough time with it. Very happy so far. Also have a 2500 and it has worked well too. Thanks!!

So i can't really leave a crazy in depth review right now because i just picked up the generator today and this is all i have for now. After removing from the box I put in the oil that it came with, connected the battery and hooked it up to my propane tank. After following all directions the generator fired right up no problem. After running it for a bit i wheeled it out and tested it out on my camper and it powered everything up. If I'm being completely honest, the build does seem a bit on the cheap side so only time will tell how it does overall but right out of the gate it seems like it's going to work! Oh and the remote that it came with is a very nice feature!

I did not use for two months and when I did It started hard and smelled of gas after a short time of running had a puddle under it. Westinghouse offered to send new carburetor and gave me a name of a shop. I have not had time to get it fixed yet. When running it's quite powers my tools.

Got this and I was very excited about having a more powerful inverter. 1st this can't even handle my small trailer a/c unit without overloading. 2nd it sometimes won't even start, 3rd ot runs like crap for the first 2-3 minutes not even hooked up to anything. If I could return it I would...

However, the 30amp socket says RECREATIONAL VEHICLE USE ONLY. Not mentioned anywhere in manual as such. Very disconcerting but customer service was quick to answer all my questions and assured me that this circuit was not restricted to RV use. Only have two hours of use (tested gas & propane.)

I bought this iGen4500DF to power my RV. Even in Eco Mode it has no problem running my 15k BTU AC. It is very quiet compared to a non inverter generator, casual conversation can be easily heard within only a few feet from it and this was when the AC was running putting a load on it.

I bought this product to have a reliable back up electrical source for my home. I followed the instructions to get it up and going. It started right up and now I know the the freezers are secure and the heat system will keep our house from freeze damage.
