I bought this generator after reading mini reviews. I decided not to use gasoline but run it off of propane after setting it up according to instructions I connected the propane tank and low and behold on the first start. It started running. This is my second generator. My first was a Honda small inverter, which was OK, but this one seems to be more power for about the same price.

Received this today and started it up, no load, on propane on first press of the electric start button. Very impressed with the unit. I question the dba noise rating as I expected it to be quieter. Suggestions for improvement: include dust caps on both ends of the propane hose and design a method to change the oil easily. Hoping for many years of reliable service- so far no issues, we'll done!

Still just breaking it in but so far on first day all went without a hitch. I am currently running my big garage on a circuits without an issue. This includes my standup freezer. Have not tried to run my welder yet as well. Way better and quieter than my old Biggs and Stratton 4500! Love that remote start too! Gonna use this baby on our travel trailer.this summer.

I have been looking for a generator for about a month now for our 35ft travel trailer and I am glad I chose this one. Is very quiet for a 4500 watt generator and having the dual fuel option is awesome. Opened the box put oil, fuel and hooked the battery up and woola started right up with no issues. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a generator with multiple starting option and a backup fuel option.

At exactly two years and 4 camping trips the electric start quit working. Contacted Westinghouse and they send me a new starter under warranty. Problem is there are no instructions or diagrams available and it appears that the engine has to be removed to access the starter. Wish I bought a Honda….had one for years and it was trouble free.

It took 3 tries to get one I could keep but I finally have one that looks and runs good. I have only tried it for test purposes so far. I will only run this on propane. It started right up. When loaded up with big draw items, it didn't hesitate to increase power. It is a bit louder that I anticipated but still much quieter than most on the market. This is for emergency use only so hopefully I don't have to use it too much.

I just set this generator up and tested it out. It started immediately and was quieter than expected. Seeing as how I purchased this for emergencies, I hope to only use it in a testing capacity. After today's test, I have great confidence if it is needed.

Took 3 months for the generator to arrive. Ordered in Feb did not receive it until late May. Added the oil, connected the battery, connected to propane. Started right up. Would recommend the propane connection be upgraded to a quick release system. One question I have is dealing with "Switching fuel sources". On page 11 (item15) of the manual, it states you cannot switch fuel while running, but on page 18, it states you can.

Bought this to power our travel trailer. Has all of the features in one unit that competitors lack (integrated usb, and Dual Fuel!). This thing kicked on first try and ran smoothly. Having the option to run propane or gas and still have one of the largest gas tanks in comparison is what sold us. Great generator. Not AS quiet as I had hoped for, but still much quieter than an open frame.

After reading all the directions that say you should remove the loads from the machine before starting and before stopping, then turning the machine off. Or turning on the LP tank then turning on the "On" switch before you hit the start button either on the machine or the remote. You have to be at the generator to do these things. So why the remote?
