Great machine! I live in Northern California and bought it in anticipation of the next power shut down. I had read other reviews and was really anxious to pick one up, but they had been out of stock wherever I looked. When I saw that it was available again, I picked one up. I was so impressed, I bought a second one for my mother-in-law's place.

I was looking for a QUIET generator that could run on propane for my trailer. Visited with a company who converts generators to propane. He suggested this model. It even has a remote start/stop. We can stay in the trailer and start the generator. It has met and exceeded our expectations. Followed the instructions for the break in period. We are very happy with it.

Seems like a good generator! But ran like bad when I first got it! Found the choke was stuck on because the wire for the electronic choke was unplugged. Don't know why this is saying I didn't write a review. Maybe it's not long enough that is why am just writing this now..

It couldn't have been any easier. I unboxed the generator, added the supplied oil and made the battery connection. I connected my extra propane tank, turned on the power switch and used the remote start fob to start it up. It started right up. Then plugged in a small 1500watt space heater. The engine changed pitch slightly and the heater was throwing out heat. Never again will I be without heat and basic life support for my family.

I have been wanting one of these dual fuel generators for quite some time since here in Texas we have a lot of weather related power outages. My wife must have heard me because one showed up with a big red bow on it and a card saying Happy Anniversary! I think I will keep her for another 40 years. :-)

I just bought this inverter generator. I live at 6500 feet above sea level, so I was a little concerned that it might not work well. I also decided to use it with propane (which reduces the number of kilowatts that can be used). It started right away! Then I plugged in my motor home with the refrigerator on and it still worked great. After that, I turned on the air conditioner in my motor home to see how it would work with that, and it also kept plugging along! As an added bonus, it is very quiet for a generator. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I needed a generator to use with our RV trailer. I live on the Gulf Coast with frequent Hurricanes. Due to the hurricanes gasoline is sometimes hard to find so I knew I wanted something dual fueled. The Westinghouse 4500DF is dual fueled. I wanted a generator to power my Travel Trailer with the correct 30amp jack to power my camper. The 4500 has the proper jack for campers. Remote start for when I don't want to start or stop the generator early in the morning or in the middle of the night. I wanted a large fuel tank that would allow me to run over night. I wanted something to tell me how much fuel was in the tank, what voltage I was running, how long I had until the fuel was out, and when I needed to change the oil and other maintenance. The 4500DF has all of those features. I needed something that was electric start. What if my battery is down? Can I pull start it? Yes to both. I needed something quiet. I needed something reliable. With the Westinghouse IGen4500DF I picked the generator that was right for me. I looked at other generators and they had some similar features, but not all of the ones the Westinghouse had. I considered many other brands but for the price the Westinghouse offered what I needed. And in addition 4500 starting amps I got more than I was looking for. I have used this generator for almost a year. It starts first time still. At 98lbs, I can load it on our truck. I have run my 4500 for over 15 hours on one tank of fuel, (I fueled it before it ran out of fuel). It came complete with everything you needed to use propane including the propane regulator. After using my generator for almost a year I am glad I picked the Westinghouse IGen 4500DF.

Seems good Just got it started right up. Doesn't appear to be used but did seem to be full of oil. Started right up on propane. Quiet for a 4000 generator, but not super quiet. Easy to move, fairly light, lots of features, seems good. I'll leave another review after a year.

I've reviewed and tested a number of other generators and this Westinghouse IGen 4500DF unit has all the bells and whistles. I am very impressed with the low sound rating, dual fuel and remote start options. No more cat calls when I startup this quiet generator in the campground.

I purchased this a week ago to get ready for a planned electric outage. Added the oil, followed the directions, connected the propane tank, and it started right up. I will be keeping the starter battery charged with a battery conditioner to ensure it is always ready to start up.
