I bought this to take with for the camper. I just got it so I haven't really used it but I am looking forward to it and I'm sure it'll be just fine. I bought it because of its dual-fuel features as well as the inverter of the generator. However the only way I am able to get it started is by using the manual pull rope. The electric push button start as well as the remote start do not seem to work. I guess I will find out how good Westinghouse customer service is.

I’m totally off grid, seems to be working great, I’ve only been using it just shy a week, but I really think the remote start is great. It took me a bit to figure out the battery charger deal, they really don’t explain it to well. I’m on propane now have not tried the gas part yet, but I’m glad it’s there if I need it.

I bought this generator because I am in a zone in California where our power company shuts off our power when it gets windy and dry during a Santa Ana wind event. I work at The Home Depot and most of our generators were sold out in the store by the time our first wind event started. I'm glad I wasn't impulsive and just bought any old generator, even though my power had been cut off twice in a week. I started researching and I noticed the Westinghouse generators had excellent reviews, better than the rest as a whole. What I wanted was something quite, electric and remote start, was able to power the tv, computer, the fridge, the toaster oven, microwave ,the water pump for the well, washer, dryer , a hot plate, and lights. Of course you can't run everything at once but I can run the fridge and the microwave and 3 bright 5000 lumen led lights at once. Just have to be careful what your turning on. It is very quite, not like rest of the generators in the neighborhood. I can barely hear it in the house. Very efficient too! Has a power saving switch where it runs at idle until you put a load on it so it saves fuel. I run it on propane because it's cheaper, cleaner and stores a long time unlike gas. This unit is for you if you like it quite and are not concerned with only running more than 2 major appliances at once, don't want to pull start an engine, save fuel and actually move it by yourself with relative ease with a telescopic handle.

Just assembled and started after sitting for three months. Fairly easy assembly and simple to follow directions. I bought two - one took two pulls to start and the other only one. Very quiet (running no load for break in period of five hours). Sips gas. Haven't tried propane yet but that's next on my list. It would be nice if there was a way to store the accessories (on board storage, storage bag, etc.) such as the propane line and regulator, tool kit, oil funnel, etc. Overall, very impressed with the capabilities and accessories, especially for the price.

We followed the quick start guide and started on propane. The unit was as quiet as I expected. There were 2 features I didn't expect, a charge port on the front panel and an efficiency button. When actuated this feature appears to lower engine RPM for anticipated lower loads. I think. This wasn't documented in the manual. There was no damage due to shipping. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.

Out of the box started first push of start button. Only breaking in period so limited review. Nice features, very quite and love the dual fuel. Digital data display is a big plus. Future model suggestions for Westinghouse to add: oil drain valve and tube, oil changes could be much simpler and not as messy and how about a float drain valve and tube so you don’t need to open the side panel every time you turn it off and store. Just suggestion I will probably add myself. I bought two of the 4500DF inverters.

Well prepared for the summer storm season! We bought in the spring so we could be ready in case the power went out for an extended period of time to ensure our chest freezer kept running and we did not lose any frozen food . I was able to set up and test with ease.

We bought this for our camper that is sitting on 19 primitive acres that we purchased. We wanted a generator that met our needs for power supply & was easy to operate. We had another gas powered generator that wouldn't start all weekend, so I did my research & this seemed to be the best option. We have only used it one weekend, but it does everything you need it to do. We are quite happy with our purchase!

This thing as all of the features you could ask for. After looking around to buy a nice generator for our fifth wheel I kept considering Honda but there they are almost double the price. This thing looks to be very quality and also has a 30 amp RV plug. the only thing I can even begin to complain about is that when I filled it up with gas for the first time the drain for the carburetor bowl was open so it would leave gas on the floor but it was easily fixed. The remote start worked awesome it popped right off. I would recommend getting a magnetic oil cap to grab any shavings that come out of the engine also I would change the oil a couple times in the first couple hours. So far I'm super happy with it. Honda may be a few decibels quieter but there's no way to justifies double the price.

Purchased this generator to run air conditioner and microwave at the same time. Propane intake cover is the only attached cover that is upside down when not covering propane input. Water and dust collect in it when propane is in use. Otherwise, really pleased with the running of the unit. Sounds like a push lawnmower when it’s running at normal and revs a little louder when starting air conditioner but doesn’t rev when a/c is running and the microwave is used.
