After a resent storm that left us without power for 3 days we started looking for a generator. With Covid our kids are home for school and we needed power so they wouldn't miss any. This should fit our needs perfectly. Since we were going to be running computer equipment we went with an inverter (better on sensitive equipment). We are able to run both our refrigerators and several other circuits to give us lights and internet. Love that it comes with a small tool kit, oil and funnel.

Just get it set up. Put under small load and worked fine. Used propane so I don't have gas sitting in the carb and lines. Set up was easy. No issues like some other reviews. Generator had some oil in it so it wouldn't take the entire included bottle as directions say to add. Remote start worked great. Should work well if we have outages this winter.

We just got this for our travel trailer. It is very uiet compared to others. We tested it different ways and everything worked great! The remote on/off was a little hit and miss, don't know if you need to point it a certain way or was just too new. Does work, though.

Just breaking it in now, but so far I'm impressed with all the features. Starts right up. All parts seem quality. Runs what I need to so far. I knocked off one star because it's louder than I expected…still way better but than my old open frame. But I have yet to measure the 54 db they claim…more like 74. Overall I'd still recommend it.

I have been looking for over 6 months for a Generator with the features that I needed for my recreational use. I found it with this Generator. Once I received it, I was surprised by the extra little things that came with it. For one a tool kit for the Generator. How often do you get that anymore. It also came with a bottle of Oil and a funnel. The unique thing about the funnel is that it screws into the oil fill, so I had no mess when I added the oil. This unit also has a remote start which is hard to find in a duel fuel model. I followed the quick start instructions and within minutes had it running on Gasoline and then on Propane. Ran as expected and was very quite. Great Job Westinghouse. Will be telling my friends what to get.

Bought this generator and the finish looks good. I repair high tech medical equipment and I will mention why I chose this generator. It's not just important to choose a reliable unit, but a unit that you'll be able to find good local service and readily available parts in the event you need them. I did research on the generator as well as being able to service it locally and this unit won just over any other unit out there.

I purchased this generator after having a competitor's (red, HF model). Well, I actually had 2 of theirs after the first wouldn't power my AC on my trailer I traded it in on a new one. The second one didn't either and either said "overload" or CO censor issues. So far so good/great with this one and I'm excited to get to use it with our competition BBQ trailer this weekend.

We lose power frequently. Having a big generator that makes a lot of racket I wanted something that was smaller and quieter to run overnight. This generator fits our needs perfect to power 2 sump pumps, 2 refrigerators 1 freezer and some lights. Can't beat this generator for the price.

I have only had the iGen4500DFc generator for a few weeks, but it has worked flawlessly so far. After adding the oil and connecting th battery, it fired on the 1st try with both gasoline and propane fuel. I was surprised how quite the unit is as well. I prefer the inventor closed type to the open type.

I bought my first IGEN400 back in 2017 and just bought me a second one with Dual Fuel. My first one never skipped a beat and has been effiecient since the first day I got. Plugged the new one into the battery and filled it up with oil, plugged in the propane and it fired rite up first try. I was hoping the any connectors and choke switch were all operating right from the ship. The plastic on the unit smells so good I don't want to get it dirty!! IGEN4500 are the best bang for the buck!
