The SmartThings app adds to the level of convenience - I’m notified when the load finishes through our TV as well and app on our phone! The top load has a glass top that gives it a nice style point..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a washer that was ready to retire and stumbled across this campaign. I am so pleased with the way this washer takes care of my clothes. I have used a few of the cycles as well as the self clean function and they all have done amazing. I love the water jet to pre-treat as I have kids that are in sports and it helps with those small stains. I liked that when the washer thought it needed a self clean that it let me know to do that. I have also noticed how easy it is to use and I am confident that even my 12 year old is able to use it without instruction from myself. The washer is amazing and I know that it will last years to come and I will get clean clothes each and every time.

It is a small place but due to our dogs and kids we realized quickly that we needed to be able to do laundry here. Unlike my original washer, this washer allows for multiple big blankets that our dogs get dirty and handles our comforters and blankets with no issues. I am shorter but don't have a problem getting laundry out of the bottom of the washer - this was my concern moving from a front loading washer to a top loading one! We also have a Samsung range that is smart things capable so we’re able to access using wifi. Pretty high tech. Set up was quick and easy (done by my husband!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great washer, would have given 4.5 but there is no option to give half star. On the pros it is smart/WiFi connected. Can control it via Smart things. It was automatically detected and was easy to paint and get notifications. On the washer performance, cleans well, haven't noticed any concerns. The only cons are the time it takes is slightly higher compared to other washers I owned, also seems to consume slightly more water .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Samsung 4.7 cu. ft. Smart Top Load Washer as a replacement to my old Samsung Washer which was producing old gunk when washing. It has good capacity with many top load settings. I like the Smart feature which notifies me on my Smartthings app when washing and cycle is done. The only issue I have is it is a little noisy but bearable compared to my old Samsung Washer. Overall it is a good washer and get's the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: -This Washer is absolutely fantastic.It does an excellent job washing my clothes and linens (even my king sized comforter) as I would expect but some things that set it apart are: -The Active Water Jet is amazingly convenient and allows me to hand-wash some delicate items or work on stains before adding it to the wash without wasting water. -The see-through glass lid window lets me peek in and see how everything is going and make sure there aren't any problems. It is so much quieter than my other previous machines. -My favorite thing about this washer is the Samsung SmartThings App. I love that I can set up my cycle settings from my phone and send them to the washer. If the washer is on, I can even start the cycle from my phone if I have turned on smart control. Once I’ve started a wash I can see the status of where it is in the cycle from the app and how much time is left. My phone will notify me when it is done or if there are any changes to the cycle. -HomeCare is great to have because it helps keep my washer in the best working condition possible. It notified me when it was time to run a self clean and will let me know if there are any other maintenance issues. I love that it also has usage guides and instructional steps. -Laundry Recipe is a very useful way to determine the best cycle to pick by answering a few questions. My husband loves it too as it is like a cheat sheet for him. Cons: -The capacity is large enough for my king sized comforter, but it couldn’t handle my king sized mattress topper unfortunately. If the washer isn’t on, I can’t control it from my phone, so I will have to go to it and manually power it on. -If you aren’t tech savvy, setting up the SmartThings app and getting it all figured out may be a bit challenging. The simple things are relatively straightforward, but digging deeper to fully take advantage of all the functionality available to you can be confusing and may require extra assistance. -You can only access some features by using the SmartThings App, so if you don’t use it you are losing some functionality. Some washer settings are not available in the SmartThings App and are only available on the physical washer control pad itself like the Delay End and Pre Soak options. Overall, I am very happy with this washing machine and would highly recommend it if you are interested in a wi-fi smart washer with a fantastic app.

I’m extremely disappointed with both the Samsung washer I purchased and the customer service experience that followed. The washer has never pulled hot water, which is a basic and essential function. I reached out to Samsung for warranty service, and they sent a technician. Shockingly, the technician claimed “there’s nothing wrong” – even though the washer still does not use hot water at all. It was clear that no real diagnostic was done. When I contacted Samsung’s customer service and warranty support team again, I was told “there’s nothing we can do about it.” This is completely unacceptable for a product that’s still under warranty and clearly malfunctioning. I trusted the Samsung brand, but this experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Poor product quality is one thing, but the lack of accountability and basic customer support is inexcusable. I will not be buying another Samsung appliance, and I strongly caution others to consider a different brand – especially if you expect your warranty to mean anything.

We have 6 people doing laundry in our house and haven’t had any issues with this washer being run multiple times nearly every other day. There’s plenty of space for even a comforter and the SmartThings Samsung app just puts this washer over the top with regards to convenience - I’m notified when the load finishes through there as well as a fun song plays

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung washer is a real beauty. Many cycles to choose from. I love the lid is soft closing. It has a beautiful tinted lid. It doesn't twist up your clothes. It has the built in waterjet, this is so convenient. I can reach the bottom taking the clothes out. Connection was very easy to smartthings. My Samsung machines are located in my garage so I am delighted to get notified when the machines are done. I think this is the nicest machine I have ever owned.
