For best results, we recommend use of the sweeper on a smooth surface. The sweeper locks in dust, dirt and hair, but it’s not intended to clean clumps of hair or whole pieces of things such as cereal. If you use wet cloths, you should sweep with a dry cloth first for best results. It's also important to align the edges of the fold to the edge of the mop head. This will ensure that the cloth fits in the grippers on both sides of the sweeper head. Also, ensure the cloth is tucked into all of the grippers on both sides of the sweeper head. Your Sweeper should slide easily on finished, sealed, surfaces such as wood, tile, and laminate. Try using both hands when mopping.
