It seamlessly connects to all my devices, allowing me to easily stream music from anywhere in the house. The sound is incredibly immersive, making it feel like I’m right in the middle of the action. This is my second surround sound system, having previously owned the 990C. Great overall! Blend right in with my setup with no jarring color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this sound bar pared with QLED TV and the sound is amazing! I've got a 40'x20' open concept living/kitchen area. I was worried the adaptive sound wouldn't work well with so much space. It does just fine, more than fine. I would recommend putting this sound bar in a more enclosed area for much better performance. But it flat out thumps when playing music. The rear speakers do such a good job of filling the space behind when watching a movie. Even my wife approves of the purchase and she was worried it was too expensive. There have been 0 complaints after plugging it in. It's products like this that keep me coming back again and again to Samsung. I'm just as happy with this sound bar as I am with my 3rd TV from them!

I’ve been astounded by this system’s incredible performance from the smallest speaker to the huge subwoofer. With the app, all the control for customization is in my hands. I actually replaced my basement media room ceiling tiles to prepare for this system. The two smaller rear multi-directional speakers are as essential as the 4-foot long soundbar. Without them, forget about multi-channel surround and spatial audio. The great thing is how no separate amplifier/receiver is needed to produce sparkling room filling sound design. I watched numerous YouTube videos and read countless reviews before ordering this system and dumping my Denon receiver and Klipsch 5.1 speakers. No regrets, just pure delight.

I went with the Q990D especially after learning my newly purchased TV had Q-Symphony and I found out they could be paired, TOGETHER. How cool is that. Best of all? No more wires dangling around my house looking like a have a vine tree inside on the walls. It’s all wireless, as is the cool Q-Symphony feature. Connecting it all was more than easy, it did it all on its own. The first movie we watched was a popular war movies that come out, and it was so cool to hear all the explosions whiz around behind me. Because it’s wireless, I was able to tweak the sound for a much easier experience. It meant I could re arrange my living room now that I don’t have wires everywhere connecting the rear speakers. Dolby atoms effect is spectacular! Be it movies, sports or listening to just music you will never miss a single detail of the sound. A fair warning to all who purchase these units - I am on month 19 and the bluetooth module has failed in the subwoofer unit which eliminates all satellite speakers and the subwoofer itself from use. They do not sell these separately and the standard warranty is one year. I am out of luck and you will be too if you do not get some version of extended warranty on this item.
