I bought this soundbar about 4 months ago, and it has been amazing, For the price, you are getting a full surround system with everything you need included. The sound quality is amazing, really immersive and balanced, but most impressive of all is the setup, the rear speakers and the subwoofer connect by themselves to the soundbar without requiring you to pair them. Overall I am very satisfied with the experience and quality.

Watching movies and playing video games was 100% more enjoyable and the experience was awesome! If you’re hesitant to buy it as well don’t be, it was well worth it!!!!

I have a Samsung sound bar and satellite speakers and subwoofer package. It's been approximately six months now. I paired it with a Samsung 65 inch smart television for best results. I found out of the box the system was not user friendly in setting up. The digital screen inside the sound bar is not easy to see and the set up was challenging. The Samsung TV was finally paired with the sound system and I chose the things I wanted the sound to do. I now find that watching TV that the sound to TV time is off. I usually shut down and restart the TV to help with this but it still is noticeable. It's like watching an old Kungfu movie with the lip syncing off experience. The system is suppose to pair and work automatically but it's obvious something is not right. I purchased this system over my last SONO system that we had and truthfully feel the SONO brand actually sounded better. Not sure how to explain that any other way. I just hated the fact SONO screwed up by expired tech that made us update the system after a period of time. Not cool. But the jury is still out on this system. So far, it's average.

The Voice Quality is what makes it the best, I could never hear alot of words on the tv before, this unit makes all that go away and now hear every word. The Surround sound and Base is a nice Bonus on top of the Voice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a smaller Atmos surround sound setup before but had no idea what I was missing with Q-Symphony from Samsung. Combining the TVs speakers (QN85) that sound great on their own. With the HW-Q990D 11.1.4ch soundbar with rear speakers added to the TVs speakers using Q-Symphony, this made my old system sound outdated and drab and it wasn't that bad or old a system being an Atmos 9.1.1 sound bar. The sound is just so crisp from this system that my son who is a huge car audio buff came into the theater room in shock at the clarity of the speakers from the other side of the house. I had the theater room door open and he literally thought it was coming from the next room and not upstairs and the other side of the house. Not only does this sound amazing with shows and movies, gaming on the XBox has me finding myself playing more without my Atmos headset. Setup was way easier than I expected after reading other reviews. Q-Symphony supported sound device was detected by the TV and it did its thing for me. I was very pleased.

System definitely has a lot of benefits to the mid and lower options as far as balancing sound in movie, gaming and general viewing and sound. Still has noticed some limits on the more muted dialog vs the action and music but that could just be advance tuning I have not accessed. I feel that should be part of the initial setup. Would like more rear speaker surround sound even at lower volume and not need to increase the volume to what may be considered "louder than needed" by others in the household. Other than that, worth the investment. Would also recommend opting for equipment insurance since the system is not cheap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heard the sound system at my daughters and was so impressed I decided to by one of my own. It delivers theater quality sound. The bass is really terrific and fills the room with feeling. The two smaller speakers, which we have placed at the rear of the room completes filling our living room with the surround sound. It fools my dog when voices come out of the rear speakers, he things there is someone in the next room. The sound bar delivers clear voice and sound effects. We also have a Samsung TV and the Sound systems pairs very easily with the TV. We opted to pair via WiFi but you can also use HDMI, Optic cable or Blue Tooth. Installation was a snap and downloading the SmartThings App made it even easier to adjust the settings to my liking.

Great...til it wasn't. Disney+, Hulu, Paramount & Peacock all worked along with Prime, Amazon and all of my other subscriptions. In December the first 4 apps stopped streaming only on this TV. The menus work, the trailers and functions work, but nothing will actually play. The apps work fine on the other TVs, tablets and smartphones in the house
