Large, handy go to for any cooking project that needs punching up with flavor. This cheese will take a bland dish over the top with flavor. It is a far more suitable and safe Italian cheese than some of the questionable additives in most of brand name grated parmesan/cellulose products on the market and this is a very generous quantity that will last a long time. Alsi, it is not finely shredded but is more like small mandoline shaved pieces.

This is a little strong for my taste

I adore this cheese. By the time I get to the last third or so of the bag, however, it starts to get moldy.
