So I purchased 2 identical units due to all of the features and convenience. I love the dual fuel option and plan to use propane primarily due to the "clean fuel" and not have to worry about the carburetor gumming up when not in use. Very pleased with these units.

This generator was a highly sought-after item in Texas after the big winter storm in February 2021, especially for those like me who waited to buy it until the tax-free weekend in Texas in April. Luckily, I found one available online. The shipping was quick, and the generator was very easy to set up. I think this is a good product especially for people who may be intimidated about buying and operating an emergency generator. Don't worry. It's easy! I haven't needed it in an emergency yet, but so far everything with this product seems to be great. I will be ready for the next big storm.

I debated on buying used, but after watching and reading so many comments and videos, I decided to go with this. Just bought it, added oil and fuel, started right up. Ran it for about 30 minutes, received the correct watts as stated. I love that it is duel fuel since I have both propane and gasoline on hand. Will definitely run what I need to run in emergencies. It's hard to give it 5 stars when I have yet to test it during an emergency. But it seems to be on par and reliable. Westinghouse has been in the game a long time so I will trust them.

Finally bought a portable generator. ‘Been wanting one for many years……………. I’ve done a lot of homework, reading reviews, watched youtube videos and I decided on this brand and model. It’s Westinghouse model WGen5300DF. 5300 watts (lower using propane), so just enough to power the necessary items during power outage such as my gas furnace, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, gas hot water heater, TV, Modem and WiFi. The most important here is heat. When power goes out in the winter time and we don’t have heat we will have to stay in the hotel as it gets too cold inside the house. So now I’m good when power goes out. So far Im very impressed with it. Product quality is really good, features are outstanding. Has a 3 year warranty. Noise per manual is 68db so its about as loud as my gas powered high pressure washer. Not that bad. It’s dual fuel (gas & propane) electric start, small & compact, also has remote control for remote start. What a nice feature. Came complete with oil, funnel, spark plug wrench, etc. I added the oil as instructed, hooked up my propane tank, pushed the remote start and it started right up. Highly recommended. Im installing a Transfer Switch next. I plan on buying a generator tent or build a dog house with cooling fans so I can safely operate it during snow or rain. If anyone has any tips on how to further reduce the noise level kindly share please. I don’t want to bother my neighbors. I’ve watched youtube videos & so far the most effective is just 4 plywood sheets angled to the ground. Thanks!

This little guy is a monster. Lots of power for a smaller sized generator. The dual fuel and push button start make this purchase a no-brainer. Setup was super easy. My only complaints are the lack of an included wheel kit (which was obviously a misunderstanding on my part) and the fact that it can only power the single 240V plug or the other 120V plugs at the same time (which is obviously general ignorance on my part), not both.

Box was a little beat up but the generator was perfect, It took 5 min to unbox install wheels connect batter and hook it up to propane, It started right up using the push button electric start and powered a few things in the garage, it is much quieter than my old unit and I look forward to many years of service from it. duel fuel feature is a must for me and I would recommend it to anyone needing a new one. Buy American whenever Possible IMO

Purchased a WGen 5300DFc a couple weeks ago. Arrived 9/12. Delivery person was great. Wheel kit a dream. Hooking up to propane easy. It starts (and chokes) with no issues - love it. The fob is flimsy I'm hoping to get a back up. There is an exhaust issue. The CO light flashes, it shuts off. Good to know it works. It's in a bldg made for my old generator. never a problem. Need to work that out.

Electric start is great especially with key remote key fob. Unboxed, put on feet and wheels, added oil - started right up on propane - let run 45 minutes. Next tried gas, first start ran very rough and stalled. Started back up and ran rough for about 2 minutes then smoothed out. Have run a couple times now since and starts right up and runs well. Ran under 50% and 25% load - worked great. Compact and easy maneuver.

Just bought this new generator and tested it out. Runs great. Love the smaller size compared to my old one and the push button start. Duel fuel is a nice option too. Only bummer is you have to buy the wheels and handle separate as it doesn't come with it.

Brought this beast home, oiled it up, put the wheels on it, hooked it up to a propane tank and two pulls later it was humming away. My box was missing the oil, spark plug tool and the LP hose, but customer service took care of me right away when I called. I am very happy with my purchase And have recommended to my neighbor.
