Nice Generator Set

I bought this to supplement or substitute for shore power when camping in our RV in undeveloped campsites. The power output, physical size, and dual fuel capability were attractive reasons for the purchase. Haven't actually got to use it yet; just getting registered.

Great features and 3 year warranty

Purchased this generator to replace my aging generator to run my well pump. This size start up and running wattage is hard to find w electric start. Most electric start generators are larger which mean heavier. This one fit the bill perfectly for me. You can't throw this gen. in the back of a truck by yourself by any means but at 130lbs, it's manageable to move around easily with the wheel and handle kit. It does NOT come standard with the wheel kit, which just doesn't seem right for a generator weighting over 100 lbs. Most other brands weighting this much certainly do. I will be using this in the mountains of Colorado at higher elevations. They also don't mention needing the high altitude kits for the carburetor and propane regulator to run properly over 5K ft.until you get into the manual after opening it up. All in all, the feature set is perfect for me. The 240 capability using the L14-R30 outlet is perfect. Running off of propane is also super nice. No aging gas and gumming up the carburetor over time. It's a great generator for it's size with a great feature set. You just need to be aware of whats needed for altitude and needs. I would recommend it over all.

Reliable Power & Easy to Use

This generator has been a great purchase so far. It starts up quickly, runs smoothly, and gives me peace of mind during power outages and outdoor use. I really like the dual fuel option because it gives flexibility between gas and propane. The CO sensor is also a huge plus for added safety. Build quality feels solid and durable, and it's surprisingly easy to operate even for someone without a lot of generator experience. Overall, very dependable, powerful, and worth the investment. Highly recommend!

Workhorse Generator!

We’ve been saying for years we were going to get a generator and finally did and we’re thrilled with this purchase. Extremely user friendly and the dual fuel could come in clutch depending upon the reason for an outage. Westinghouse has been around 140 years so we have complete confidence in the generator’s longevity. Super solid purchase!

Very happy with the purchase

I have only ran this for the 5 hour break in period and was very pleased with the start up quiet operation. I hopefully will never switch to gasoline. I did have a issue. starting it up for the second time of operation. I have discovered. when the propane is cold it will not run . Say below 40 degrees Fahrenheit I used 20lb propane tanks from the grill, I am in the process of making an insulted. box with a 60 watt light bulb for my six tanks. I will also look into a larger volume tank ,which may correct the issue , But the generator is sweet,

seems to be a well-built machine

Looks to be a well-built machine, I made this purchase as a investment, I will have it if the power goes out for several days due to a ice storm, or any other emergency here in Montana. Was received after 5 days date of purchase. does not have wheels and weighs 135 lb. I suggest strapping it onto a piece of wood and mount some Wheels under the wood, as a piece of plywood 22 in by 25 in. Then a person is able to move it around and pick it up with a hand truck.

Works great after getting it started. The battery was almost dead but I was able to give it a jump start. Difficult to pull start but I have a bad shoulder. Slight drip of gas when the shut off valve is first closed. Otherwise it would be a 5.

Quality Control Lacking

Brand new generator experienced surging on first use and all uses thereafter. Fuel tank vent hose that connected to air filter housing had broken off with the connecting nipple still inside the hose. Fuel gauge nonfunctional after first use lol. Quality control needs to be improved. I understand it isn't a top-tier product but that shouldn't matter. The product should function normally from the factory.

Generator disappointed

This generator can't run the 120v plugs at the same time as the 240v ,I have it set up in a shed ,but I can't run a fan at the same time your running the generator .I have to run an extension cord from the house outlet. If you're looking do the same I can't recommend it.

think good product, if only it had worked

The generator had all the features one could want, but unfortunately the generator didn't run long enough (8 minutes) to find out how it would perform. after a few minutes it started to have problems with engine speed and only went downhill from there, to a point to where the engine wouldn't start.
