Just received my WGEN5300 generator today. It works incredibly well for my farm. I will be making provisions to my house to use when there is a power outage.

I've had this generator for about a month. It looks sturdy and runs well on both gasoline and propane, when I tested it. I have yet to test it through a severe storm. Easy to set up - love the remote starter and dual fuel options.

Easier to start with electric start rather than standard manual on propane as fuel source. I finally got tired of getting worn out trying to start the manual version of this generator on propane and replaced with the electric start.

We bought this generator a few years ago in preparation for a hurricane. We ended up not needing it until recently when another hurricane hit us head on. It was very easy to set up and it pulled everything we need it to.

Exactly what we wanted. Just the right size to recharge whole house battery. Propane is very clean and keeps the generator always ready unlike gasoline. Remote start and auto choke makes it extremely easy to start.

I like the generator but have had an issue with a propane seeping past the fuel valve when the unit is not running.. Could always smell it, so always a hassle to shut supply off even between multiple uses per day in my RV.. This is a huge safety issue and also can make the unit hard to start/restart (LP flooded carb/engine). Today I decided to troubleshoot and found my soapy water blessing blowing substantial continuous bubbles from the brass pipe LP gas outlet of solenoid/fuel valve module that feeds over to the carb, even when the unit is turned off at the switch.

Using this to power essential house appliances such as refrigerators and lights, as we know it's not powerful enough to run HVAC. Wiring the house to connect the generator was twice as expensive as this product. When hooked to the house, the motor revved and idled on gasoline at the frequency of about 60 Hz. Hopefully if we have to run it for a long duration it will sort itself out. The load was about 75% capacity.

The remote took a minute to get use to how it worked. Once I got it going it worked great! It is not as quiet as I had hoped but it does what I need it to do. I wish the wheel kit came with it. It takes two people to move it. I love the dual fuel function. I'm planning to only use propane.

I bought this last week to prepare for power outages this winter and I feel so much better knowing I have it to depend on especially with this super El Nino coming our way.

I just unboxed this generator and all i can say as of now is that it looks nice and well built. I didn't realize the wheel kit was sold separately so now im waiting on the wheels so I can move it outside and test it out.
