Bought it to run during Florida storms. Used once and ran great. Stored it after and was having issues starting it again. Electric switch seems to be the issue with some of these electronic start generators. I do love that it has a remote start so no need to go outside in the bad elements to start the product.

Bought the generator the end of June. Upon the first use we had a problem with the carbon monoxide shut off out in an open field. On the second use in September it ran fine for two days shut it down to refuel and when I went to restart there was absolutely no power. Battery registered full charge but the generator would not start at all not even the manual start. We were reliant upon it in freezing temperatures for our heat source so had to cut our trip short. Would not recommend this item. Very disappointed in this product.

I bought a wgen5300dfc on 7/1/24 and received it on 7/5/24. And on 7/19/24 it quit producing power and I’m not not happy at all. When the generator worked it was a good one and I enjoyed it. Well it is now 7/30/24 and I still haven’t heard back from Westinghouse on how they are going to fix it.

I bought this generator just in case of a storm ...i will still have power in my house ...plus it has automatic start key farb...i would have gave a 5 star but the 12v battery that came with it was bad so I had to buy a new one...over all it was a good purchase

Purchased in February and have done the break in process and used for the first time for approx one hour. No issues with assembly and after adding new oil and fuel it fired up on the second pull. So far so good. Seems to be built very well. Looking to test it out in the months to come.

I ungraded my electric service to include a transfer box and needed a 240v generator. This item looks great! Easy set up (oil, gas, wheel kit etc) and it started right up with the push button and remote. The real test will be when I lose power again.

wgen5300df. arrived 1 1/2 weeks faster than promised. Box wasn't even damaged. All was complete and undamaged, looks great Hint before I instaled last wheel I laid it on its side to put in the oil. Works great on camper a/c with microwave at the same time. love the remote. When starting without auto start finding the choke to turn on then to get turned off after it fires is tricky. Going to ad a small piece of fuel tube on choke leaver so it will be easier to find. Best power and options for the money. Hint,,, to change the break in oil. Lift one side till the drain plug can be pulled w out dripping. screw in small clear fuel tubing check plug size for tube size, drain, then lift again to add oil. Charger was missing but not a big deal.

Purchased this as an insurance plan in case hurricane season causes power outages. Set it up to work on propane. Initial setup was easy and it started right up! Unit is a bit heavy, so I have it sitting on a dolly so I can wheel it out of the garage when needed.

I purchased this dual fuel generator for my parents. LP gas is so much easier than gasoline for them to handle. The product was delivered on time. After getting it out of the box and adding oil, start up was super simple. Ran beautifully. My dad (89 years old) LOVES the remote start.

This generator replaced one that was half this size and had so many handy and different features. It started right out of the box. All I had to do was put on the footpads and wheels. It came with oil and a funnel. I like the fact that it runs on propane as well. It`s just what I needed!
