I Love This Product

I bought this item for my 4 year old daughter. She and I share a room and she moves around a lot while she sleeps. She was falling off the bed often. We have carpet so she wouldn't get hurt but it would wake her up and disrupt her sleep. I took a chance on this product even though it says on the description that it only fits up to a Queen sized bed. I have a California King and it fits just fine. So for anyone out there that is letting the size limit stop you from buying this product, don't! The straps are plenty long for my Cal King mattress and the bed rail is completely secure. This is a great product and i would recommend this to a friend.

Useful & Effective

We needed a bed rail for one side of our daughter's bed and, as I found out, not all bed rails are created equal. We found this one and opted for the site-to-store delivery to save on the delivery charge. That process was very smooth and the product meets our expectations. It is durable enough for an adventurous, creative 3 1/2 year old, and does fold nicely under the mattress (just might get caught in the bedding a little). It definitely is more durable than others we looked at and we are glad we purchased this one.

Not what I thought

It took so longer to get then it said it would and It wasn't what I thought. When my son was small we got a bed rail and it hooked to the mattress and I thought this one would to but you have to have a box spring to make this one work and my grandson' s bed doesn't we had to staple gun it to the platform of the bed. Would of looked for something else if it didn't take so long to get. Not happy with it.

Serves its purpose

This was purchased for my toddler who sleeps on a twin bed. The bed rail covers almost the entire length of the twin bed, so it's great. I had some trouble with assembly, probably because the parts that slide in and out were a little bent. I was still able to assemble, but ordered replacement parts so that it's easier to slide in and out. The strap is very odd that attaches to box spring/mattress, and directions aren't very clear on how to install it properly. Overall a good product and pretty stable.

Does what it claims to do

We bought this product for use on a bed that is occasionally used by adults, and I was hesitant to believe that the rail wouldn't be felt when it was between the mattresses. I have to say, I have been impressed -- it was easy to put together, sturdy and would fit any size mattress. It slides easily under the bed and the bed is just as comfortable when the rail is down!

Poor Quality

This is a very cheaply made product. I was really looking forward to using this on my bed for my son. After I got it put together, my husband noticed that the pull part where the fabric is tearing and coming apart, so you can't secure it to the bed. Definitely taking this back to Walmart and will not be buying another!!!!!

We purchased this item for my 2year old daughter for her birthday, she upgraded to a twin big girl bed. I do love it, my only dislike is the the way you slide it out and up. It can be slid under the bed, but the sliding out part is very annoying, for that reason we just leave it up. It does serve its purpose. I would reccommend this item.

Perfect

I was looking for a long, sturdy rail, so that my special needs child would not fall out of bed. This is perfect. It is not only longer than other railings, going down the whole length of the bed so there is no space for her to fall out, but it is also higher than other railings I have used. I feel that she is safer with this railing on her bed.

study and long rail

I have purchased the simiar model from OneStepAhead.com which cost much more. Although I needed one more, I was hesitating because of the price. That was the time I found this bed rail. It is even greater than the one from OneStepAhead. It is simple and study. I wish I had found this earlier. I am 100% happy with this and recommend to anyone who is looking for the long and study rail.

Sturdy side rail!

It was a little difficult to put together just because the instructions were a little vague. But once it was together it was very sturdy. My daughter shakes it vigorously and it holds up very well. I'm still a little confused on how to collapse it, but that isnt really why I bought it. My main reason to buy it was because of its length. Great product overall!
