Exactly what we were looking for

These bed rails are exactly what we were looking for. My husband set them up with no problems. They are a great length and height. We have them on a double bed. Now, if we only had a 3rd one to put at the foot of the bed to keep our 2 year old from climbing out!!!

great product

this product is a very good product. My 2 year old son is tosses and turns all night and will actually pressed himself up against the barrier and it does not move. The only thing is it a little bit hard to put 2, one on either side of the bed. My side rial in the bed hangover where the rails go and the plastic joint on the rail don't fit well but was able to make it work.

Exactly what we needed!

This is the best safety rail and I'm so glad we bought it! My husband and I had no problem putting it together and no tools were needed. (which I love!) We have a custom firetruck bunk bed and the top bed didn't have a rail. We bought this unsure how it would fit, but I couldn't be happier! Our 5 year old loves sleeping up there now, even the two younger kids climb up there and I don't worry about them tumbling off the edge even when shaking this rail. I did notice that if you do choose to slide the rail under the mattress, it would take two people as the locking pins are far apart, This isn't an issue for us though. I love the extra length and would recommend this rail to anyone needing a full length rail.

Regalo Hideaway Bed Rail

I was really disappointed in this product. First, the mesh was torn in 3 spots where my daughter could put her finger through it & tear it some more had I used the bed rail. Second, there was a plastic broken piece near the part where you should be able to move the rail up & down. Third, I had to use a tool to unlock the bed rail so I could put it in the hide away mode. It was very, very difficult to use. I took it apart immediately, boxed it back up & returned it the next day. Terrible product. Would not recommend it.

Great value, great product!

Product is sturdy and works very well. Rail is long enough to cover most of the mattress, yet allows space for child to get in and out of the bed. I haven't used the hide-away feature yet, but glad it is an option. I highly recommend this product. Assembly takes longer than expected, but well worth it.

Did not meet expectactions

I ordered this product when I moved my toddler from his baby bed to the bottom bunk bed. (my older son has top) I wanted to be sure he would not roll off. He has not rolled off but the rail in less than 2 weeks is warped, and it took quiet a while to put together. My boys are not allowed to play on their beds so it shouldn't have warped so easily. The under the bed idea seems great but overall this was not what I expected.

Great product, great price

After shopping at all the major retailers and seeing this same product "on sale" at a children's store, I found it at Walmart.com for less and it wasn't even on sale! Very easy to assemble, very sturdy, and a perfect fit, the extra length makes it very safe; we actually bought 2 more we were so pleased.

Great length bed rail

This is a good bed rail once it is put together. It was confusing, and I normally like the challenge of putting things together. At the end, the cover was put on backward, so it works- just has the warning on the outside which is annoying to look at, and I have no time to take it all appart. You are able to put the rail down and slide it under the bed, which is a nice feature. However you can feel the bars under the mattress. My two year old can't feel it- but I would not be able to sleep on it. When the rail is up it is very sturdy and I feel safe with the generous length of the rail. So I have mixed feelings, I like the length of the rail, but would not pay the extra money for the "slide under the bed" feature.

Difficult to slide under bed

I had a smaller bed rail for my first child and sold it. We wanted the longer rail that locked better. I like the product overall but it doesn't slide easily under the bed and the locks on both ends have to be pulled out to drop the rail and again to push it under the bed. When you go to put it up again you have to pull both locking pins twice per side again. I wish there was a way to lock the pins open when you slide it under the bed. With that said my daughter loves her new bed and the crib is gone.

Straps are pointless

First off, the instructions are very vague and the pictures aren't that helpful. Second, the part that is supposed to "hold" the other side of the mattress or box frame/bed frame is rounded at the bottom and very short so when you're trying to lock down the clips it can keep sliding off the frame or box spring, making ylu just want to throw this out the window. The only reason we were able to even use this is because the mattress weight holds it down so our 2 year old couldn't possibly push it over.
