Keeping things where they ought to be!

I actually purchased this to keep a small, elderly dog in bed. She is blind and leaving her on the floor in "her" bed just doesn't work, because she wakes up in the middle of the night and wanders. But having her sleep in a human bed brings another set of perils. This bed rail did the trick! It's easy to assemble; easy to put on the bed; a snap to drop down and "hide" when you want to change bed clothes; strong enough to pen our pet safely so everyone gets a good night's rest. I am confident that it would be wonderful with a small human, too! Highly recommend.

Almost perfect

We have a 22 month old we just switched to a daybed. This gate is the perfect length. It contains her and she has yet to try to get out of bed on her own. It seems very sturdy and holds her in as she sometimes ends up sleeping right up against the rail. It is a bit of a burden to hide the rail away, so that only gets done when company is coming over. It was very easy to put together--my husband put it together in less than 15 minutes. I would have given it 5 stars if it were a little easier to hide away, but overall it serves it's purpose and was the best price I could find.

One thumb up

Bought this for my granddaughter's (3 years old) daybed that we just bought her after she fell out of bed. My daughter was saying it doesn't stay in sometimes and will fall in the floor. Not sure if it's because a box springs is not used (since alone is not needed for the bed.) We like the extra long length and the way it folds. But she does like it.

good design cheap parts

Was excited to get this product for my toddler to start sleeping in a full size bed. Seemed easy enough to put together till my husband started to zip up the cover. It immediately broke. He tried to re-adjust it and when he got the zipper back on it still would not zip up and broke off again. We would have just taken it back from that alone but I am very pregnant with twins and have no desire to wait in line. We decided we would just try to sew it up ourselves. Once we got it on the bed it was easy. It's a good length and the general function works. Just wish the sleeve hadn't been so cheaply made. Snaps or Velcro would have been a better option.

ok product if manf. gave right parts

We bought 2 rails to transition my daughter into a big girl bed. Rail 1 took forever to put together because instructions were not great. Husband was not happy! Then started putting together rail 2 and the manf. had a incorrect part in the box. Called manf. and a week and a half later received part and again they shipped the wrong part. Ended up going to a baby store to buy another bed rail and am taking back to Walmart rail 2. Wished I would have just taken the product back in the first place, but this item was a site to store.

Wonderful peace of mind!

Our son is only 17 mos. and already too big for his crib. He is sleeping safely and soundly in his new twin bed with this safety rail. It's taller than the older style rails which is extra nice. Even on his knees I don't have to worry about him falling over the side. It is also nice and sturdy as he likes to grab the rail and shake it with his full body weight. The only down side is that it still leaves a good 12 in. gap at one end or the other. We solved this by using a smaller rail with this one until our son quits sleeping at both ends of the bed. I am completely happy with this product and my husband even agrees that this is one of the best baby/kid products we've ever spent money on.

Great size for a queen bed.

I purchased 2 of these for my son's queen sized bed. I put them together myself with no problem. I don't worry about him falling out of bed with these. They are a great size. I also have a regular size Regalo bed rail at the bottom. They seem pretty sturdy once you install them on the bed. I did have my doubts until I put it on the bed and my son tested it out. I like them. They work good. I do not use the hideaway feature. I leave them up all the time and I have no problem getting him in and out.

very sturdy!

I actually used this product to keep an elderly woman I take care of safe and in bed. She can't walk on her own with out falling and would forget this at night! I was able to set it up by myself though it would have been easier with 2 people. It is very sturdy and fits very well on her queen size bed. She has shaken it quite hard and it stays in place. My only complaint is that it is hard to get it out from under the mattress or put it back when she is in bed. It takes some hard pulling. This might not be a problem for a toddler who weighs less and you can pick up.

Perfect

I was looking for a long, sturdy rail, so that my special needs child would not fall out of bed. This is perfect. It is not only longer than other railings, going down the whole length of the bed so there is no space for her to fall out, but it is also higher than other railings I have used. I feel that she is safer with this railing on her bed.

awesome!!

Ive had it for 3 weeks and I love it. My 8 month old daughter sleeps in the bed with us and after falling off the bed 3 times while we were in deep sleep I decided to look into a bed rail. After carefully reviewing all the rails possible, this one is affordable and very sturdy. I know that there is a "hazard" sign on it but it fits so close to my mattress that there is no way my daughter could get stuck in between it. I would recommend this product to EVERYONE! Easy to assemble although I did need my husband to help me anchor it to the mattress. We have a king size mattress and its almost as long as our bed. Love this product!
