I must begin to say that this is an amazing scanner that does the work and is rapid(fast) when it comes to scanning lots of receipts, and other important documents such as my business letters/documents. I do not have a lot of time to spend especially when it comes to get my job done. Sometime my job requires assignment where there is a need to be fast-paced and not time-consuming. So, this is where my Epson RR-600W Scanner does the workload of several component all-in-one. What I love the most about this scanner is how easy the set-up was, all I did was follow the easy steps alone with the anticipated excitement that I had just waiting to scan a couple of documents in my hand. The joy of this scanner being wireless was part of what really made it quite simple with the set-up, I did not have the worry of connecting wires to connect it was wireless and a touchscreen panel on the Epson RR-600W scanner and easy access with the push of a button. I could even use my optional USB port as well. You can use the USB memory drive as another way of transferring scans to your email, or computer. Downloading the required software makes the experience of finding your document and receipts even easier. The receipt software is included which as well is a much needed plus when you have many receipts that need to be processed into a file. So, the included software the PDF software will help turn your scans into searchable and editable PDF’s. I can go on and on with the excitement that this scanner gives me but would need to have the best experience ever. One of the most expressive scanners by far in my book. Review Notes. Setup Device arrived very well packaged and not broken. Setup is easy and simple one USB cord and power cable included. It’s not overly huge as well and fits well on a home office desk. The Touch screen is a welcome surprise. The download and installations were quick and easy and was soon testing the device, I chose to choose all options. A Firmware update 05.01. SW13L1 with 27.70 MB was available. Did a test scan before updating to see whether I would have issues after the firmware update. After the first update there is a check for any additional updates Testing Scanned a tax form as well as various document and chose the option to upload to Google Drive and was easy enough. Options to change resolution is good as well as being able to choose the date and file name format are a welcome addition. The Scanner is pretty snappy and first. Black and white scanning very fast at 1200 dpi. Color scanning available at various speeds and its not that far from BW scanning, very impressive.PDF,Jpeg and TIFF scanning options are available with various settings.PDF plug in has options for password setting to open a file as well as turning on or off.In addition the option to generate PDF/A files is available. The options you get with this little scanner are too many to name in this review.It is simply worth at least 500 bucks easy. In the updater too you have the option to check interval to check ranging from 1 day,1 week,2 weeks,1 month and 2 months. I chose to leave this blank for now. Receipt Scanning To scan receipts e.g. ihop receipt the scanner needs to be set to 600dpi.The OCR did n0t work very well s I had to edit date and restaurant. The image was very clear though. You have the option to save as a QuickBooks online, Desktop and as a Quicken file. There is also the option to save as a n Excel File, image file and as TurboTax File which should be greats for small business an Accountants a well as in Hospitals, Admitting and registration departments. One more thing, with a click of a button you can instantly Duplicate a receipt!!! Android App Testing. Downloaded the Epson Smart Panel form the Google Play store, wish they had a QR code for this part. Make sure the scanner is setup on Wi-Fi one that is done on the app home page tap the scan button and the item on scanner scans and shows up on your phone instantly!! This is review of Epson RR-600W. First impression, It is simple and easy to use. Setup is simple, bonus is that this scanner is wireless and is completed in less than 10 minutes, including unboxing the scanner. This scanner offers different modes of scanning and locations of where the document will be stored. The scanner allows for double sided scans, and you can scan different items, including business cards, receipts, and documents in one batch. Scans can be exported to QuickBooks, TurboTax, Quicken, Excel, Dropbox, Google Drive, and more. The mobile app for the scanner works flawlessly. Another bonus feature is that the scanner has touchscreen capability, no more outdated, push buttons. The scanner comes with receipt management software included, no subscription required. The software allows you to automatically and accurately extract key data from receipts. I have used this on multiple occasions, and it works like a charm. The Epson Rapid Receipt RR-600W has been an amazing addition to my home office. I work for a non profit and most of my work is done from home. This scanner has enabled me to scan receipts and documents to export to Quickbooks. It has easy to follow instructions, setup is quick and understandable with minimal effort. First I set up wireless, downloading the app on my smartphone and software on the computer. The touchscreen on the scanner is easy to use, clear to read and makes setup uncomplicated. The buttons and instructions are easy to follow. I’m able to scan double sided documents with easy and without having to then the paper over. This saves lots of time. The scanned document is quickly sent so I can export data. Overall, this scanner has been an amazing addition to my desk. It saves time, is easy to use and gets the job done. All sizes of paper go through the scanner so easy.The ability to control the the DPI and color to gray scale is so easy to adjust on the fly. I would highly recommend this scanner. The speed is also amazing, so quick the pages seem like they are just flying out of the scanner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my RapidReceipt RR-600W Wired Duplex Touchscreen Desktop Receipt and Volor Document Scanner a few weeks back got to say I'm super happy I got it, it makes my life so much easier easy to set-up and easy to scan all my important documents into my computer also very convenient to scan my receipts to my computer because I feel a little more organized and keep track of my spending love that is touchscreen which makes it much more easy to use.

I run a construction company and decided a few years ago to get rid of the filing cabinet, and while not 100% successful, we still have a very small filing cabinet, this receipt scanner has made a huge difference. Not just receipts though any document that fits is quickly digitized and stored in the cloud, so much less paper in my life.

From opening the box to loading the software and scanning documents, it is all easy and the scanner performance is flawless. However, the receipt processing software just has inadequate documentation. The neat receipt scanner I had is very slow compared to RapidReceipt, but the software is straight forward and can produce a expense report quickly. The Smart Scan software is just not documented and it has been hours so far and it appears the only solution is to buy quicken to get an expense report. So hey Epson it's a great scanner - but the software documentation is well - just substandard. I have a radical idea, make a video on how to use your software to produce an expense report.

I have a busy bookkeeping business. We scan hundreds to thousands of documents a day for our clients. The desktop scanners we used previously are fast but they require you to scan in one receipt at a time and then they must be connected with a cable to your computer. I initially bought 3 of these RR600W Rapid Receipt printers for testing, with the plan to buy more if they proved their worth. One of them failed right out of the box. It never connected to the WiFi despite very many attempts. The was returned. We retain the other 2 however I would caution anyone in a production environment against considering them. Even with technical employees you are going to waste time supporting them. And they jam often when feeding in more than 4 or 5 documents at a time. When they jam you have to clear error messages on both the scanner and the computer and then you have to refeed the jammed receipts. Often you get part way, or most of the way through a large scan job when the app screen simply goes white and you lose all you work. You have to restart the app to rescan everything again. The frustration and wasted time makes these a time waster in a production environment. For someone who just scans a few household receipts they are likely more reliable but the frustration of keeping them connected to your WiFi is not really worth the money.

I absolutely love that its wireless, it makes it so there are no more cords than needed. Its a decent size, not to big, it fits perfect next to computer. It also comes with software to collect and invoice everything. I love it and highly recommend.
