Looks great, acts great when it works. Driver issues prevent my computer from communicating with the scanner and so it does not scan. Only on days it feels like communicating with my computer which is about 10% of the time. Soo sad.... to bad I lost my money in this machine.

I just started my own business and trying to deal with the struggles of a start-up business. The scanner has made it so much easier for me to scan my receipts and other documents. I can't believe how easy it is to use. I now have my receipts and documents in one place on my computer. I don't know what I would do without the scanner. This is a high end scanner, at a high end price. Does it earn its price? Absolutely! A lot of good about this scanner, and so little bad. Setup is a breeze, with detailed instructions and pictures starting from opening the box and setup. The size is perfect, and the scanner unit sits on my next to my monitor. After plugging the scanner in, and a few clicks, you are on your way. The unit FEELS quality to the touch. From the bright color screen to the adjustment areas for the size of the paper. There are options for scanning via USB, and receiving it via internet through a variety of means (Email, Google Drive, etc). I tried them all, and all were very straight forward. I went with the USB directly to my computer option because it was already on my desk, and it is so fast. Lets talk speed; SO FAST. I couldn’t believe how fast it was. I thought it wasn’t scanning. But it is scanning. DOUBLE SIDED. And not double sided by scanning once, and flipping it. At the same time. And somehow, just incredible quality. No paper became safe. I was introduced to the world of instant, high speed scanning. High quality scans of photos, yes! Better than an all in one flatbed for photos. A lot better. High quality scans of that receipt that is wrinkled and in your pocket, yes! High quality scans of that double sided document you have in a folder in your desk because you have to store it, yes! My paper desk drawer went from bulging to empty in an afternoon. The PDF software it comes with, combined with the touch screen made scanning over 500 pages, receipts, and pictures makes a “paper drawer” a thing of the past. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really did need to get better organized and the Epson Rapid Receipt has the capabilities to do just that. Sorting through the piles of receipts we tend to accumulate was time consuming. We also were able to scan & organize documents that were sitting in piles. It did a great job of scanning both sides of the documents at once. The scanning of receipts worked seamlessly except for a few that were quite wrinkled and I was able to straighten them enough to then scan them. I started with twenty or more receipts and it rapidly scanned them with no problems at all. The speed & accuracy is such a timesaver. The touchscreen is clear and easy to use. The compact size & the fact that this machine is wireless is appreciated.

With the change in work access while Working From Home, this scanner has been an amazing upgrade. I have had various scanners before and the quality and speed are by far my favorite. One of the reasons why I prefer this model is the touchscreen capabilities, my favorite. I did not realize how convenient this feature is and if your current scanner does not have a touch screen, I would reconsider. Setting the device was easy for any one of any level of knowledge on setting up any device. I opted for wireless setup as my office desk is small and I wanted the scanner to be close but not next to my laptop. I love how the software is able to give options do double sided scans very quickly and the image quality can be adjusted based on the detail desired. I opted for 300 dpi on my scans. Receipt scanning is a breeze, as long as you have the guides setup properly. This scanner is easy to setup I didn’t need no help which is huge for me I was able to set it up quickly. the size of this is convenient you can place it in any corner My work space is small so I was able to get it fit in a small compact space by my desk. The scanning features are great you can scan a two sided document you can place any size receipts. also you can place more than one document/receipt etc to scan it’s definitely a time saver. it’s very nice and high quality work gets everything done quickly The touchscreen is quick and responsive you can adjust your settings this way and enjoy this great feature. You can also use usb memory drive to transfer scans to your email. Also simply connect this to WiFi which is my favorite feature makes everything so much easier. I absolutely love that its wireless, it makes it so there are no more cords than needed. Its a decent size, not to big, it fits perfect next to computer. It also comes with software to collect and invoice everything. I love it and highly recommend.
