The Epson Rapid Receipt RR-600W is a workhorse scanner that gets important documents scanned in a matter of seconds. This scanner comes right on time as I have been trying to seriously eliminate the “paper monster” by organizing and creating a file system that houses important data. I have chosen to access the data via an organizational file system via my computer and/or the clouds. I have accounts with Evernote, Dropbox, One Drive, and Google Drive. The scanner is very easy to set up as Epson has included a quick start guide that instructs how to connect and input your computer’s Wi-Fi info, download the necessary drivers, and from there, you are good to go with scanning! I found that this scanner has a touch screen which is an added bonus as it lends to the intuitiveness of the scanning process. The visibility of the screen makes the process of scanning to be efficiently done as it enables you to see the whole process as it occurs. So far, I have scanned hundreds of documents such as old tax forms, medical documents, and business documents. The documents I scanned have immense clarity and conciseness. I have a lot of business cards that I have collected over the years that I was able to scan and file. Additionally, the free included receipt software is another added bonus as I save most of my receipts. I especially found its duplex capability to be great too; as I scanned lots of documents that were two-sided. Additionally, I am elated that this scanner is wireless as this eliminates restrictions. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the features, functions, and performance of this scanner. I just started my own business and trying to deal with the struggles of a start-up business. The scanner has made it so much easier for me to scan my receipts and other documents. I can't believe how easy it is to use. I now have my receipts and documents in one place on my computer. I don't know what I would do without the scanner. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really did need to get better organized and the Epson Rapid Receipt has the capabilities to do just that. Sorting through the piles of receipts we tend to accumulate was time consuming. We also were able to scan & organize documents that were sitting in piles. It did a great job of scanning both sides of the documents at once. The scanning of receipts worked seamlessly except for a few that were quite wrinkled and I was able to straighten them enough to then scan them. I started with twenty or more receipts and it rapidly scanned them with no problems at all. The speed & accuracy is such a timesaver. The touchscreen is clear and easy to use. The compact size & the fact that this machine is wireless is appreciated.

I have to give the RR-600W scanner an A+. The scanner is easy to set up and great for a remote office. It is wireless which is a huge plus for me since that means fewer cords. I can easily scan my documents for my home office including receipts for expenses. I love the touchscreen that makes it easy to adjust settings. It scans all black and white and well as color awesome. With the receipts, does scan at a high quality so I had no problem with the image once uploaded. It's great that it has duplex scanning. Love that you can categorize the documents, which makes it so much easier to find and organize docs. I work in the Higher Education Administration field. I’ve been working remotely for about a year now. I miss having accessibility to the Canon C650 in my office. The Epson RR-600W Wireless Duplex Touchscreen Scanner is making me miss the Canon C650 in my office much less though. This is my first Epson Scanner and I am very impressed. The RR-600W measures about 6.9 (H) by 11.8 (W) by 6.6 inches (D) with its trays closed and weighs 8.1 pounds. It is plug and play. I took it out of the box, attached a few parts, and then plugged in the power adapter. Needless to say, it was easy to assembly, set up, and it is very light (not bulky and takes up little space). The intent of the Epson RR-600W Wireless Duplex Touchscreen Scanner is specifically designed for organizing and managing receipts and invoices. My job does not include organizing and managing receipts and invoices in Higher Education Administration. Thus, I used this feature to scan my personal receipts and invoices. My receipts come in different lengths and widths. For example, I recently went to H-E-B to restock after a winter storm in my area, and that receipt was very long because I bought a lot of items. Another example, I had a doctor’s appointment and that receipt was thin, 5 inches long by 2 inches wide. I put both receipts in the tray and the scanner scanned the receipts seamlessly. Within seconds the receipts appeared wirelessly onto my MacBook Air via the ScanSmart Accounting Edition, also known as the Receipt Manager software. This software is very impressive. It was able to identify vendor names, date on the receipt, total amount, sales tax, etc. I can see how this can benefit business owner who collect tons of receipts daily. They no longer need to manually enter data because the software accurately extracts and organizes data from receipts and invoices, and seamlessly integrates the data into Excel spreadsheets, QuickBooks, TurboTax, Quicken, etc. As mentioned in the above paragraph the Epson RR-600W is wireless. You do not need extra cables to connect the Epson RR-600W to your computer. I’m grateful that the Epson RR-600W is wireless because my MacBook Air only has two Thunderbolt ports. I’m glad I do not need to buy extra attachments. I use the Epson RR-600W mainly for its TWAIN driver feature. The TWAIN driver feature easily integrates my documents into PDF. I can now create searchable and editable PDFs at no cost and sent it to coworkers. I use the 4.3-inch touch screen control panel often. The screen control panel is very user friendly. The first thing I did was connected the Epson RR-600W to my wifi network. I scrolled right using the arrow to find “Settings” icon. I tapped the “Settings” icon and used the down arrow to scroll down to find the “Network Settings” icon. Then I clicked on the “Wifi Setup” icon. I’ve also used the 4.3-inch touch screen control panel to send data from the Epson RR-600W to my computer, to send data from the Epson RR-600W to coworker’s email, and to send data from the Epson RR-600W to a thumb drive. Lastly, the Epson RR-600W has a duplex feature. I’ve put a piece of paper with writing on front and back into the Epson RR-600W tray. The Epson RR-600W automatically scans both sides with me having to reinsert the back page manually. All features have been accomplished quickly and accurately. While the Epson RR-600W has many advantages; I wish it also included a way to print so that I could get rid of my bulky Brother HL-5070N printer. I am very, very pleased with this scanner. I have worked with all-in-one (AIO) Cannon, HP, & Epson scanners in the past & found Epson’s scanner to be the fastest, but clunky with Mac software. The RR-600W is my first use of a dedicated scanner & it has left be with a huge positive impression. I have scanned hundreds of documents in the past & this has converted hours into minutes of work. First, unlike every AIO I have worked with, this can use 5GHz wifi, drastically increasing speed. Second…Duplex scanning is a huge timesaver…no sorting, & no speed loss. I can use the touchscreen to select the applicable computer to upload to & the computer can handle dumping massive amounts of documents of many standard sizes to include receipts up to legal format, & it does it automatically. Epson designed their own management software, but included Kofax Power PDF for both Windows & Mac as an option. I import using epson to a folder, & you can target that folder with any software you want. The scan speed is terrific…it feeds as fast as dropping a sheet on the floor. Overall, I am greatly impressed & this is definitely worth every penny if you do even a moderate amount of scanning. Don't buy if you use Mac equipment. The ability to produce reports fails with this Epson product. It has cost me hundreds of dollars of my IT's guys time to determine that this product is not able to produce a year end report summarizing my expenses. Save your money if you have a Mac.

If you want a high quality scanner for a reasonable price, I totally suggest the Epson RapidReceipt Scanner. I save my receipts and invoices from everything and have been using a small handheld scanner, and using the Epson totally made my life so much easier. I could load 25-30 receipts in one shot and have them done by the time I did 1 on the handheld. It was very easy to set up, so no fear if your not technologically inclined. The 4.3” touchscreen is clear and easy to read. And if you think you have big fingers you should have no problem using it. It’s small and compact so doesn’t take up that much room on your desk. All necessary cable are provided with the scanner. One major plus is that its wireless so no wires running to your computer. I would suggest you download and install the software to your computer before you plug it into your computer. I have yet to download the app for my Google Pixel4xl, but I believe it should be just as easy as my computer, which is a Lenovo Idealpad. Having the choice of where to save it is great such as your computer, One Drive, Google Drive, a USB Stick or email. This scanner is easy to setup I didn’t need no help which is huge for me I was able to set it up quickly. the size of this is convenient you can place it in any corner My work space is small so I was able to get it fit in a small compact space by my desk. The scanning features are great you can scan a two sided document you can place any size receipts. also you can place more than one document/receipt etc to scan it’s definitely a time saver. it’s very nice and high quality work gets everything done quickly The touchscreen is quick and responsive you can adjust your settings this way and enjoy this great feature. You can also use usb memory drive to transfer scans to your email. Also simply connect this to WiFi which is my favorite feature makes everything so much easier.
