[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed having a robot clean my home for the last 4 weeks. It works great but I wish I had one with a bin that empties itself. I have 3 cats and having to stop the roomba every 10 minutes to empty the bin is a bit excessive. But I'll take it instead of having to push around a vacuum multiple times a week. I would definitely recommend this product!

Vacuums like a dream! Just download the App from the App Store and the Robot is off running doing its thing. Cleaning is not so much of o big chore anymore since I bought the new IRobot Roomba j9+. This little robot takes is very simple to setup, first download the IRobot home App follow the simple setup instructions connecting it to your home net work. Then set up a mapping of the entire house ( will take 90 minutes or so) then set up a schedule within the App. Once all that is done it's off working for you. The home docking station is where it will charge and empty its container of dirt from vacuuming the floor. The Robot is pretty quiet while it is running its coarse, but while it is docked and cleaning out the dirt it has collected into the filter inside the docking station it gets pretty loud. The bottom has two rubber wheels that grip really well on carpet or tile and has sensor and cameras that detect objects. Overall it's a really great vacuum and cuts my cleaning time in half.

I previously used 2 other Roombas and loved them, but hated the hassle of emptying the chamber. I would get notifications that it couldn't complete a job because bin needed to be emptied and it would drive me crazy! Now this Roomba is a time saver for sure! So glad I purchased!!

Love love my Roomba. A true savior for our home. We have a lab retriever who sheds a lot. Roomba does its magic every time by picking up the hair and leaving a clean tile floor. I used to spend nearly 2hrs in sweeping the floor. But now with Roomba , I start the vacuum task with an App literally from anywhere and use the 2hrs for my walk/run time . Excellent product and a great value add if you are looking to increase quality time for you and the family. Note: I tried the Vacuum plus Mop combo initially but not satisfied with the mopping functionality. Hopefully that's improved over time. Currently I use only the vacuum feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am no stranger to the wonder of Roombas. I have used a basic model religiously for years so I was super excited to see a self emptying model. The j9+ comes with the Roomba, base with pre-lined bin attached to the back, and a HEPA filter inside the Roomba bin. The first thing that you will want to do is connect the j9+ to wifi and let the roomba map your home. This will allow you to select areas to clean and set cleaning schedules on your iRobot app. The best feature about this is that you can send the roomba back to home base and tell it to empty itself. I like that the sound of this roomba is much quieter and less hateful than the OG, but the self emptying sound is as loud as a jet taking off. My home is not very large (or filthy), but the Roomba insists on emptying itself at least 4 times during the course of vacuuming my living room and kitchen. I think this is because the bin is pretty tiny. Prior to setting up the app, I was constantly being scolded by Roomba to "empty the bin" like it just didn't feel like doing it on its own. This was quite annoying, but it seems like the app connectivity has solved this issue. I love the inclusion of a hepa filter for those of us with allergies and the idea behind this model, but I don't feel it has been perfected for everyday use at its price point yet. This model absolutely requires a larger bin like the OG. I received this product in exchange for an honest review.

I have the J7+. Love it. Have had it for about two months. It does a great job. I have vinyl plank flooring and some carpeted floors. It works well on both. I do not have pets. Mapping is a breeze to do and the app is very user friendly. Would recommend.

It created a map of my floor plan and gives me the option to review perceived obstacles and designate Keep Out Zones. I suggest using the mapping feature prior to vacuuming because it goes much faster. Then enter room dividers and other information that Roomba needs to run a complete, thorough job. My old 960 took hours to clean our 1200 sq ft home. The j7 takes 75 minutes with 1 stop to recharge. After recharge, it goes back to where it missed! So cool!

I'm absolutely furious with the horrible customer service. After 2 weeks the robot broke - bumper stuck. Okay, it happens and I was going to give it another chance. But ONE month later and I still don't have my robot. Customer service is useless - sent me a refurbished item instead of new replacement, as the rep told me. After that the UPS lost the new item. Not their fault BUT because they don't send you the automatic tracking I didn't know about it. If I don't it in the next day or so, I'll just ask for refund and go get a non-irobot vacuum that works!

I have a pit bull mix and he sheds awful. I run mIne every day and I must say what a difference. Saves me so much time. Way better than pushing a broom around to only miss half of what I swept due to the dust and for flying all over with every push of the broom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the iRobot for three weeks and am impressed by its cleaning abilities, especially on carpet. The iRobot app is very user-friendly and makes setting the vacuum up and using it simple and easy. The collection bin for dust/debris is quite small and needs to be emptied often to keep the vacuum working, and seems to dump a small amount of dirt on the ground whenever it is removed. I have noticed that the vacuum has a difficult time cleaning along the edges of area rugs, it will often not pick up items that are in my hardwood floors around the edge of the rugs.
