This is a great product. It's very versatile letting you clean your entire home or you can clean one room or multiple rooms at a time. The phone app let's you select what rooms you want to clean. You can monitor its progress. You are alerted when the cleaning is done. You can go back and look at the history of your cleaning. There have been several times where it picked up something like a lego piece, it shut down, and sent an alert about it so the lego piece could be removed. I have not really found anything negative about this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try the Roomba vacuum for a long long time. After owning a Shark robot vacuum , I would say that the Roomba does a better job in terms of mapping your house and cleaning. The battery life of this vacuum is also very long. My upstairs is about 4,000 sq ft and it vacuums the whole area on one charge. One thing I do not like about this vacuum is that it's very loud. It sounds like a tractor while driving around and cleaning. It also makes the most loudest sound when emptying its bin. If you have napping children in the home, this vacuum will definitely wake them up. It also gets stuck A LOT, so unless you have an absolute bare and clutter free space, you cannot leave this vacuum unattended for the duration of the cleaning as it will get stuck. Overall, I would give this a 3.8 rating.

I received this item free to test and review through bzzagent. I am giving my honest opinion. I call this roomba my mini me Because it cleans like I do and acts ADHD like doBecause when I first received it and it was learning my home I kept picking it up and putting it in different spots so now it'll go from the living room to the kitchen to the living room to the bedroom the living room so I have to figure out how to change that but I find it hilarious that it remembered it's first adventure in my home. ItDoes pretty good with cleaning the floors there are some issues where doesn't get all of the pet hair but it comes back for it eventually and the floor looks nice and vacuumed. I have a lot of pet hair in my home so I have to empty the bin quite a bit and it gets stuck in the brushes. It's a quick clean I'm back to work it's definitely helped me with my busy lifestyle helping me clean up after my children and my pets. I also can control a lot of things with the app and warned you when objects are in the way I look forward to working with Roomba in the future

Stops randomly in the middle of rooms with "drop-off detected" errors. Moving it around and cleaning the sensors does nothing, support is wildly unresponsive/unhelpful. Similar issues with it complaining about bin being full when it's not. There is no way to disable or override these erroneous errors.

I bought this because it's geared towards pets. It has a small waste bin. I find clumps of dog hair around the house because the rollers don't properly spin. I'm Constantine cleaning on the metal parts of the rollers to remove human hair. I have it scheduled to go M/W/F and 2 of those days a week I find it stuck somewhere for some unknown reason. My carpets have started to pull on the edges. Doesn't clean well along walls. Not worth the money to constantly still have to clean up after it or find it stuck or not working properly. It's only been 5 months. Very disappointed with it.

These things are not with the money and neither is the customer service. I now have two dead robots sitting waiting for the third. Until I got the email that I have to take pictures and write what's wrong with them. I didn't build it how should I know. I'm not an electrical engineer. Then customer service wants me to take it apart and check something else. For $800 they should make sure the customer is happy. Not at all. I am getting my money back. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY!

It is great for a family like ours who is always coming in and out. We also have 3 dogs and we use to have to vacuum several times a day. Now with a roomba we can finally stay on top of all our other chores and have more time to hang out as a famliy, and with it's obstacle avoidance I dont have to worry about it getting stuck. To anyone who is thinking of getting one, I highly recommend this product.

I bought a J7 for $695. Before I even received the delivery, the price dropped to $495. So I requested a refund of the difference. They said that I waited 10 days to ask for a refund, and I needed to do so within 7 days. Seriously? I could have returned it and gotten a full refund, but chose to keep it because I didn't want to go through the trouble of shipping it back. They probably knew that.

I loved my Shark. We have 90% luxury vinyl plank and 10% carpet. We have a dog and live in the country where we bring in fine dirt on our shoes. The Shark worked great for us. It was scheduled to come in every day and it ran for hours. We had it empty every 30 minutes, charge, and keep going. Our dog never has accidents.....until one day in September. My husband was outside blowing leaves and our dog was inside. She pooped on a rug that was under our kitchen table. The Shark ran over the poop, dragged it around, and I'm guessing it tried to empty at least twice. It was not a pretty site or smell. We shared our story and pictures with family at Thanksgiving and everyone had a great laugh. We had to throw everything away, but plan to purchase a new one once we save money.

Love that it cleans when I don't have the time, but with an infant in the house, it's too loud to run when she's sleeping and it doesn't clean quickly enough. It took multiple charges for it to clean a space that I could have vacuumed in just a few minutes. It also missed spots and needed assistance in certain locations as it would get stuck, suck up a curtain, or be unable to get past an obstacle.
