This product works AWESOME, I have had products like this (Sam###g) and they worked, BUT they never avoided objects (we had a dog that was getting up in age and occasionally had accidents in the house ‍ what a mess) those could not be controlled anything like this or go to a specific area you need to clean and finds the docking station every time and empties into the storage bag. The biggest thing I noticed was around my dining room table and all the chairs WITHOUT bang bang bang trying to navigate around all the chairs it senses them and actually cleans around everything. IT ALSO gives me suggestions for cleaning areas and when it's shedding season and in AZ dust is always a problem. Another great feature is my ability to set up "NO GO ZONES" the vacuum listens and learns ALL the rooms in our house. I still have 2 dogs and a cat and this vacuum is AMAZING and keeps all my floors (hardwood & carpet) looking and feeling great and the pet hair cleaned up!!! Plus ANY charging cords or plug inn cords this vacuum has NEVER pulled one in or been a problem. I 100% recommend anyone getting this you won't be disappointed !!!

I used my brand new vacuum, and I was very pleased at the thoroughness. I love the fact that it goes back to its station and cleans out the stuff by itself. However, the second time I used it, I turned it on when I left the house, because it's a little loud. I guess my dog pooped on the floor and the vacuum ran over it, dragged the poop everywhere. Across hardwood floors and wiped itself off on my carpeting. I didn't even clean it. I just sent it back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving how well this Roomba Vacuum works, it vacuums the floors well and I really like that when the vacuum is full it will go back and empty it self and then continue vacuuming my floors. This vacuum is also pretty quiet picks up everything in its path and I also like that it sweeps the edges of the rooms. It is also easy to empty out the canister once it’s filled up.

This new self emptying Roomba is a game changer! I turn it in through the app while I'm at work and it vacuums my entire first floor itself without me emptying it. The battery lasts for long. The vacuum is very smart at drawing maps and navigating through the house. Mopping feature is another great add on. I have two dogs and have to vacuum daily. I just can't express enough how having this new Roomba changed my housework. So easy to use!

Outstanding robot, I'm so so impressed with how quickly the J9+ Self emptying Robot Vacuum was able to map my hole house. The robot is a peace of art, so beautiful and modern design and what I like the most in it was that it makes almost no noise. That makes my heart very happy! Amazing technology. We have been impressed with this little smart machine. I am surprised people expect such a small delicate tool to work like a bulldozer. You need to do your work and prepare the ground beforehand. Remove the large rubbish, shoes, socks, clips, papers, cloths, ... out of its way. Clean its wheels and caster after every shift. Treat it as delicate as you would treat your other smart stuff!

It worked great for the first month. After that, it stopped charging. I have cleaned all of the sensors the way described in the owners manual. I've moved the charging base to different outlets, checked all the power cables. It just won't charge, I can't reboot it because the battery is completely dead. I've tried positioning it on the charging base myself and nothing works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much better than the previous generation models. The roomba moves in more straight lines rather than randomly. This is a huge bonus, also it takes pictures to help make decisions! This is a total helpful overhaul. The only reason for 4 STAR is sometimes it gets stucks on bumps into things too hard and tips things over.

I like this Roomba but if you have multiple dogs it clogs up bin on vacuum very fast. I think this happens because the actual opening to the bin in the vacuum is smaller & dog hair clogs it. I am having better luck with the vacuum now that I understand what the problem is and try and keep it hair free. I love that it empties itself. Emptying the bags is hard due to small opening. I am going to order more bags pronto. I know now I should've vacuumed real good with my upright before using the iRobot. I think this would've helped. Clean contacts & wipe clean and empty the bin. It works.
