Got this as 'insurance' against the increasing number of power outages. My electrician set up wiring for easy connection to my breaker box. It's really easy to roll around and use. It runs all the essential things (sump pump, furnace, refrigerator/freezer some lights, one burner on fridge, computer) - about 1/2 the house - plenty for an extended outage. I am almost looking forward to putting it through its paces during the next outage. Almost.

September 11, 2017, Hurricane Irma headed to Georgia! We lost power at 7:30 a.m. that Monday morning and power was not restored until 11:30 a.m., Thursday (Sept. 14th). Seventy-six hours without power, but the Generac got us through it comfortably. I've never had/used a generator before, but it is easy to start and fairly simple to use.

Purchased this unit just prior to hurricane hitting Nova Scotia. We lost power for three and a half days. This unit kept all the essentials running and kept us safe and dry. Didn't run it over night, but pretty much all of the waking hours and only had to refill the fuel tank once. No super heavy loads but it handled the refrigerator with no problems. Used it for coffee, microwave, induction cooktop, TV and internet. Delighted with the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator! It’s very well-built and feels super sturdy. It is quite heavy, though, so I definitely recommend having two people to lift it if needed. Once you get the wheels installed, it becomes much easier to move around. The setup was pretty straightforward, there aren’t too many pieces, and I was actually able to put it together by myself, though it would go faster with two people. I’m especially glad to have this generator since I live in Florida, where hurricane season can easily knock out the power. Last year, we couldn’t use our submersible water pump to prevent flooding during a storm because we lost power, so having this generator as a backup gives me so much more peace of mind. I also love that it runs on gasoline, propane, or natural gas, just with the turn of a dial. It’s super flexible and reliable, and I love that the COsense technology adds extra safety by automatically shutting down the generator if dangerous carbon monoxide levels are detected. Overall, I’m really happy with this unit and feel much more prepared for the next hurricane season!

I always do a major investigation before i purchase anything expensive.Sometimes it takes me weeks.I read everything including reviews.Finally after days of asking questions and reading many reviews i felt the Genarac GP6500 was right for me.I was right.Assembly was easy and took about 15 mins.Filled it with the oil that was provided and it started in two pulls.The unit was powerful enough to power up my whole house except the clothes dryer and electric oven.No more freezing in the winter or sitting in the dark.It is relativley quit and ran about 10 hrs on a tank of gas.I am very satisfied with my purchase and you can't beat the quality of Genarac.

After researching for almost a year, and talking to countless other generator owners, I decided on the Generac line of generators. After extensive comparisons of the Generac portable generators, I decided on the GP7500E since it had the electric start. From the time I ordered until receipt took about five days, and it arrived in great shape, no shipping damage or missing parts. Assembly was a breeze, and in approximateyl 30 minutes, I had the unit assembled and started up. I ran the unit for about an hour, load tested the 30 amp circuit, then packed the unit away in the garage to await the next power outage. One thing to remember about this unit....it's heavy, right at 200lbs, but once it is assembled, the design of the handle makes moving this generator around a breeze.

Checked previous reviews ALL were favorable. Other competitive products could not MATCH favorable reviews & their ratings. Easy of use, especially with electric start & EVEN battery charger, really sealed the deal! Needed an superior generator with all the power outages now & in the future. Couldn't be without an dependable generator anymore! Recommendations from relatives ALWAYS were GENERAC for dependability and quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is rock solid and offers everything you would expect and more. This isn't the most quiet of generators compared to our Honda 3000, but it's twice the amount of power. The motor is exceptionally easy to start and it sips gas. Even under load, this motor doesn't use near the gas as expected. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Haven't actually used it yet as we haven't lost power. BUT I had a friend put it together for me and he showed me how to start it up and it is so easy for me - I'm a girl and sometimes these mechanical things are tricky for me. I'm not dumb by any means - but I'm very busy with full time work and raising kids and was caring for my elderly Dad (who helped me buy the generator ... by the way). So, sometimes I don't have time to figure out stuff ... anyway it's a nice product - only complaint is it doesn't say how much of the oil you package with the machine should be mixed with the gas - we assumed all of it but ... and I am concerned about the gas sitting in it. I had to fuel it up to be sure it worked after I purchased it, but since I haven't used it and may not for a while ??? I'll read the book to see! Thanks and please don't share my personal info. I am very impressed with my model of Generac. I purchased this model after seeing my neighbors in use and I was impressed. Used for home backup and miscellaneous jobs. The electric start makes simple for my family to get running with no assistance if I am away from home. Very easy to set up and use. Good design for storage.
