Our generator was purchased in the event of a power outage. We have had our house wired to accept gen power by an electrician. Our electrician was SO impressed with our generator. He even mentioned it was robust enough to power our whole 2400 sq.ft. house, except for the AC. During our testing, the machine started up within 1 second, made less noise than we would have thought for its size and power. The controls are easy to use and understand (I am a novice at this) and maneuvering this beast was actually pleasant. Sturdy contruction and high quality gives you an excellent feeling that this can handle high demands. During our testing, it performed perfectly and did power the entire house with ease (45% total load with EVERY light, fan, appliance turned on). If I could give it 6stars, I would.

A derecho came through our city on August 10, 2020. Severely damaging the power grid to the city. I purchased a RS8000E the following day. I needed the unit to run a refrigerator and freezer, but more importantly my mothers oxygen generator. We were without power for eight days. The only issue I had was with the user manual no specifying that flipping the 30 amp circuit breaker need to be turned on to activate the two 120V outlets. I figured it out and had no issues with the generator. The generator definitely paid for itself. I would recommended this unit to anyone.

I waited a long time to buy the right generator and the Generac 7500E was what I was looking for. I could go on and on about the 7500E. It has everythng anyone could want in a portable stand-by generator. I am very pleased and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality generator.

I pulled this generator out of the box and assembled it per your instructions. I started to move the generator and the wheel almost came off. Your assembly staff did not weld two of the three sides of the bracket holding the wheel. I did not have a truck, so I could not take this product back or I would have! I ended up welding back on myself, properly and repainting the area. I bubbled the paint on the frame due the heat from welding. I think you need to give serious attention to you welding and inspections on you products. This is a safety issue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We own the house at the very back of our cul-de-sac which just happens to be on a separate utility line from the rest of our neighbors. We lose power for a few hours quite often, and it becomes very inconvenient if you're in the middle of dinner, or the big game is on! We love the ease of hookup in the Generac generator we got. Wheel it out, start it up and plug in! The CO2 monitor built in is extra peace of mind for us. We are now going to have the transfer switch installed to make it even easier! The price was within or close to the many competitive brands I reviewed and researched out. I wanted an electric start so my wife could start it if needed in my absence. The main initial wattage output was very important to start the electrical appliances in my home that I feel is needed. Primarily, the well pump, two refrigerators, several room lights, TV, security system and possibly the AC/heat system if really needed. I do not have it set up yet but will soon be adding a manual transfer switch to connect this unit to. Looking forward to providing me the power I need during the next hurricane. IRMA was cruel to us. We use to experience power outages in our area as much as 9 times a year. That was when it was our cottage and before the utility company did a great job of clearing trees from around the lines. Now we sold our house and live here full time. About 1 or 2 outages a year. We just bought $200.00 of food for the frig and freezer and had an outage. Bought my new Gererac generator the next morning and saved everything. During the outage I installed the transfer switch and could not be happier being able to use everything important for comfortable living during an outage (even the Hot Tub). Very easy to use, very easy to set-up.

As a homeowner, I am thrilled to have the generac generator. It was really easy to set up and it starts so easily with the electric start. Having a quiet muffler was also important to me. It' a convenient size to store in my garage and pull outside as needed to use.

I have owned this generator approximately five years, it only has 60 hrs on it. It has been in auth shop twice and has had four new fuel pumps. Also new voltage regulator It has now blown the fuse behind the control panel and blows another as soon as installed?? I seldom post negative comments on products. In fact this is my first!!!! Very disappointed!!!

I said then that I would not want to go through that experience again without a generator. I was worried that we would lose all of our food in our refrigerators as well as our freezers and that would be devastating for us. For years I have heard that people had problems with carbon monoxide issues with generators so I was so happy that this one is equipped with CO Sense. I feel safer using this with my family. This generator has an electric start so it is even easy for me to start. I am thankful that I do not have to worry anymore about what we would do without power. In the long run this will save us a lot of patience and money since we will be able to run our refrigerators and freezers.
