My husband hates sharp cheddar and I'm not a fan of mild cheddar so this Medium cheddar from Tillamook is the perfect compromise. I prefer to grate my own cheese as I have had issues with pre-shredded cheese not melting properly in my Mac N Cheese. This is a huge block and enough for all my cheese-needs for the month. Freezes & defrosts well.

Now I know I'm a little bias because I am an Oregonian born and raised however there is no cheese that compares for everyday usage! When you take a bite of food with Tillamook cheese on it, you know it! The flavor, the texture, the way it melts everything about it makes your eyes roll to the back of your head. In 2024 my husband and I went on a trip to Mexico we found this little dive bar with the sweetest bartender. We got to know her a bit and know that she had never been to the USA however when she found out we were from Oregon she had said "you guys have the best cheese" I said "tillamook" she said "yes" with excitement in her eyes. (She has a snowbird friend bring her the cheese from time to time) Being born and raised on tillamook products I could go on and on about how amazing their products are!!

Tillamook is literally the only brand of cheddar cheese I buy. It’s pricey but worth it. My Mom and daughters tried it and love it. It melts perfectly without separating the oils and becoming rubbery like all the others. The medium has a nice flavor that is great on everything from eggs to tacos, nachos, crackers, burgers . . . you name it. It’s great for snacking, too. I continually buy this cheese over and over again. I am a vegetarian and this cheese is the one thing keeping me from being a vegan. It's that good.

Tillamook is my favorite brand of cheese and I love the cost savings I get when I purchase it at Sam's Club.

I love all kinds of cheese, including strong ones, but my husband and our toddler prefer mild cheese. This one has a creamy, milky taste that we really like. I also love the simple ingredients and that it uses natural coloring.

Regret purchasing Tillamook's "Halal" cheese. Didn't notice until it was too late to return. I'll be more careful from now on.
