I bought this after my divorce and my ex took everything including the appliances. I have 2 kids and needed something they called "uber washer". I love the extra capacity size perfect for larger items like comforters and blankets. I am able to reduce the loads of laundry to one instead of thee or more and thus using less "well water" and cutting my time by 2/3rds. There is a feature for extra rinse that helps with larger loads such as comforters and large blankets. Its amazing and energy efficient. I am so happy that i found the perfect unit for my family, can't say enough about this unit, if you have the room it is a great investment and the price was reasonable for all its amenities.

We like that the drum is super stainless steel easy to self clean itself. Door can be places in partial shut when not in use which dries out the interior preventing the mold algae etc buildup. Like our last LG washer it gives a super wash. We find bending over to get to the back of the drum when unloading is difficult; alternative is to get a stand or item to make it higher. A couple of the setting do not spin and spun out to dry well on the spin cycle = take getting used to. But on the other cycles it super spins out the moisture thoroughly. If as often happens one of us bumps the front knob, it shuts off, but does not come back on to the same wash cycle where it left off, so it all has to be started again. Then again it is really likely we are not understanding the instructions well. We could be calling the LG help people and maybe solve the few issues we have?

NEVER OWNED ONE BEFOR . Had a WHIRLPOLL WASHER BOUGHT NEW IN 2021,WAS THE BIGEST PIECE OF JUNK I EVER OWNED.HAD REPAIR MEN HERE 7 TIMES,COULO NOT FIX IT.GOT THE LG ABOUT A MONTH AGO LOVE IT,EASY TO USE DOES EVERTHING IT SAYS IT WILL.GLADE TO HAVE IT.

POSITIVES Large capacity, Turbo Wash effectively saturates large items such as comforters, drain pump mostly quiet and works intermittently rather than constantly making grinding/pumping noise, during drain spin works gently to briefly toss laundry to remove excess water before going into high speed spin NEGATIVES NORMAL cycle unpredictable. May perform a wash and one rinse that’s insufficient. May rinse twice but not sure if that’s based on load size or soil level setting. Can’t tell if you need to set extra rinse until time is displayed after sensing and machine starts. Then have to cancel and restart with extra rinse. Way too much suds left in final rinse on almost all settings even after reducing HE detergent manufacturers’recommended amounts by half. Seems to be worse with Turbo Wash in NORMAL cycle as jets spew milky rinse water onto clothes and spin action seems to oddly increase suds and drop suds back onto laundry. Extra rinses barely reduce residual suds.

I've had my washer for two weeks, and I am really happy with how large of a load I can place in the washer and dryer. I've also purchased the pedestal washer and a regular pedestal for the set as I have a large family where the laundry never quits. They are simple and easy to use, and the LG application linked to my washer OK. I'm still working on the dryer though. Overall, my laundry smells amazing! I also love the energy efficiency based on the load type and the various options your can include or exclude based on your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG washer and dryer a month ago. I did my research and found that LG front load washer (this model) was rated very highly. I have had several LGs in the past and found that they wore out very fast. Fast forward to new technology, style, service and support. The dryer has several options including the steam dry which I LOVE. I had visitors with a small child for 2 weeks. The baby wet the bed every day which meant I washed every day. The sanitizing setting did the trick and i was able to set the size of the load so I saved on water usage. Love, Love, Love it. The bedding setting is awesome. So many positive features that really do what they say they will do. The overall design is slick and sexy. Looks more expensive that it is.. Although NOT cheap!!
