I just purchased this washer and dryer…… I did not purchase the pedestals because they are a ridiculous is no Price. In order to remove the laundry you have to practically get on your knees because the opening is so low to the ground! For the amount of money they charge for this set, what a poor design or maybe just another ripe off to make more money on the major expensive pedestals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're pleased with this. It's huge so can fit a big load. We were told it had a "smart" dispenser where you just fill it up and then it knows how much detergent to use, but it doesn't. It also only connects to 2.4ghz wifi signal, not 5.0. So we can use that feature either unfortunately. Other than that, looks nice, works great.

Pros: They look nice. They clean/dry well and are quiet. Cons: Drum light only comes on when you hit the power button, not when opening the doors. Light button only works during a load. Front panel wording is off-white, not backlit & hard to see. Dial starts off on “Normal” but can’t choose options, you have to turn it again to "Normal (if using that setting) to be able to adjust water temp, spin, etc. Settings don’t save, you have to adjust for every load, even if you same loads back to back. I WOULD NOT BUY THESE AGAIN!

I am very happy with this machine, the cycles are actually shorter than the machine I replaced and I can customize the cycles to my needs. my clothes don't get beat up and the spin cycle is amazing. The clothes are barely damp after the spin cycle. The steam option is nice for stubborn stains. The machine is easy to operate and does a great job of cleaning. The cleaning cycle for this machine is easy to cycle for periodic cleaning.

It is only November, and LG says it is out of stock due to Holidays. It is false advertising to offer Black Friday discounts on products that are not even available. Shame on LG for using such deceptive selling practices. It is not good for their reputation.

I liked the selection of cycle choices. However, some selection won't allow specific settings like: hotter, higher spin, etc App needs user experience improvements. For example, remote start...it was limited for child safety, but there should be a way to disable it if you don't have a child. Excellent quality washer but the plastic door just dropped my review to average quality.
