[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is great overall--same volume with smaller footprint than my previous fridge, LED lighting so I can actually see all the food, door alarm to tell me if something isn't closed, deep freezer drawer, big door bins, huge "deli" bin. I've been used to having a covered "dairy" section which this does not have. so now my butters (I keep several, salted and unsalted, grass-fed) are in a plastic box on a shelf. The top drawer in the freezer doesn't come out all the way, which is inconvenient. Other than those coupld of small complaints, it's great.

All was good with the refrigerator for 4 years. We liked how roomy it for our space and all the assigned bins were just enough for our use. Maintaining the perfect temperature while it works. Right when 5th Year was running, the fridge broke down and was not cooling anymore. All the food inside had to be dumped. Online research says the linear compressor lg uses is known to be faulty. I wish I had checked when buying it. It is covered under warranty and it was replaced free of charge too but it took 10days for them to finally replace it. Not gonna buy groceries everyday and cook so ended up eating out during those days. With all those money spent out I seriously considered buying another fridge during that time. In short, all is good except the time taken to get it repaired. Covering expenses not enough. Timing is important too. Thanks for keeping up with the rant. Hope this was useful.

It is a nice looking fridge and one feature I liked was the movable shelves on the inside, but they are not as flexible as I thought they would be. It is nice and quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this fridge can fit into a standard fridge space. Ice maker is great and has large storage capacity. The fridge storage itself could be much better designed. We had to take out a shelf in order to get tall items in the fridge. Gallon jars don't fit otherwise. So we lost space. Same with the door storage.... can't fit tall items. The lighting is fantastic. Love the ice plus feature. Freezer seems easy to access most items. The door alarm is handy. With standard fridges a good push and the door shuts itself. With this fridge one must push the door all the way shut. I bought a French door Style due to wanting to grow less science experiments.... everything is much more visible in this style versus a freezer above fridge below style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We searched for a refrigerator to fit our small space--only 30" wide. We were hoping to find something with an ice maker & a water dispenser. We are very happy that we got one out of two--the ice maker!

We have had this for 2 years. The compressor broke which is covered for 10 years. We haven’t had a refrigerator for 3 weeks now. There is no one in the area that works on this kind of compressor because it has butane in it. I think it is about time LG should just give us a new refrigerator.

I reluctantly gave up my 22 year old top freezer refrigerator when the door seals no longer sealed and I would find the freezer door didnt stay closed. It took me a year of looking and reading reviews and visiting stores looking at different refrigerators. With tears, I said goodbye to the old one in April and havent looked back. This LG has much more room, fits well in my limited space galley kitchen, keeps perfectly cold and frozen and having ice is a big plus. It is quiet operating and the only noise is the icemaker. It is easily cleaned with a microfiber cloth and So far no problems. LG has a happy customer in me. My only issue is the delivery men said they locked the wheels so it doesn’t roll. These elderly bones don’t know how to unlock to move it to dust behind. Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

However, there was nothing wrong with my old refrigerator so it was worth the wait. I love the lighting inside. Everything is at eye level in the fridge part & easily spotted with the bright lighting. The only noise it makes is when it is dumping ice & filling up to make more. I enjoy the pull out tray in the freezer, too.
