After years of wanting a French door refrigerator I finally realized at 80 years old if I wanted to enjoy it I needed to buy it now. My problem was the space I had for a refrigerator was small; it had to be no more than 30 inches wide. Also I did not want water/ice available on the door. My new LG fit the bill perfectly. Although it juts out a bit more than my previous refrigerator it is not obtrusive. I especially like the large door containers , easy to group items used together together, like mustard, ketchup, etc. I did have to lower one shelf, but the adjacent shelf has a small lip to prevent items from falling off. The deli drawer is especially handy for lunch meats, cheeses, soda cans. I did not hook up the automatic icemaker; I am just as happy with ice trays. That also gives me a bit more freezer space. The bottom freezer did take a bit of getting used to, but I like it now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this just before Christmas. There are two minor issues I have with my fridge. 1. The doors don’t open as far as I wish they would. 2. I cannot place two shelves side by side. They need to be staggered. There are times that I would like to place a sheet pan of cookies in to cool. I realize that my lowest shelf is all one level, however, it is being utilized for my disabled spouse who cannot reach the higher shelves.

The look of the stainless finish caught our eye and the new features just kept coming. I love the French doors with the bottom freezer. You have so much more room and I get excited every time I open the door with the led interior light. They have thought of everything even including clips if you need to make an adjustment to the door height. Another great feature was in moving the deli -drawer to the bottom of the refrigerator, it provides so much extra room and makes it more versatile for adjusting the shelves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a suite of LG appliances for my 1940 galley kitchen. If I did anything differently about this particular model would be to make it about 4” taller so the inside shelves could be adjusted a little higher. You cannot get a 2-gallon water bottle on the bottom shelf without it pushing up the shelf. Forget getting 2-liter soda bottles anywhere except on the bottom shelf of the door. Other than that, it cools and freezes well and I’ve had no problems so far except I cannot get the wifi to connect. It fits great in a small space and has a lot of room inside.

My old fridge quit working so I needed to buy a new one. I needed black to match my appliances , needed a 30 inch width and wanted a bottom freezer. This fridge met all of these. It is beautiful the black stainless steel is so striking. The fridge is quiet , has tons of room in the freezer and upper refrigerator. It also comes with an ice maker. I love it

It stopped working already. We had hoped to have it as long or longer than our first refrigerator. So sad. It worked good while we had it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am extremely happy with the purchase of the LG French Door, Bottom Freezer refrigerator (LFCS22520S). The space we had in the house dictated a narrow (28-30 inch) unit and we did not anticipate getting one with this much volume. The linear compressor is extemely quiet and even the built in ice maker is not too noisy.

French doors open to give a wider access to the inside , and the glass shelves are adjustable , love the glide and serve drawer holds a lot more than it looks like it can. Vegetables stay nice and crisp. Easy access to the pull out drawer freezer and holds quite a bit of food. The refrigerator is nice and quiet. Stainless Steel cleans up real nice!

For the first three years no problem until now. I had to replace the compressor and that wasn’t fun. My refrigerator began to make a popping sound for several weeks and then it stopped cooling. So I lost most of my food because it happened overnight.
