I bought this refrigerator a few years ago. I have a small home with a galley kitchen and this model fits ALMOST perfectly. The only issue I have is that the right door cannot fully open due to a wall. One problem I do have is that I cannot remove the glass plate that is on top of the drawers to clean underneath it. Any suggestions? Otherwise, I love it.

I found while researching this site that this fridge doesn't have a replaceable filter for water going to the Ice maker. This info is only available if you search reviews. Hopefully, there are no other shortcomings LG forgot to mention.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this almost a year ago. Aside the fact that it doesn't seem to hold enough, it's very hard to load with everything accessible. Also it was making terrible noises a few times a day and also a roller seemed to be missing from the freezer tray. I called LG who sent out a repairman pretty quickly. The noise was the compressor for the ice maker trying to work--we hadn't hooked it up and it was ON. The new roller we're still waiting for--about 2 weeks now.

Shelves are adjustable. drawers are large and the freezer section is huge! I heard a noise in the freezer, called LG, the tech walked me through how to run a diagnostic test, everything was fine - the ice dispenser switch had been switched to "on" by mistake (we do not have it connected to water). Easy fix to correct the problem. But the bonus of getting a quick diagnosis was fabulous - great support!!

Was surprised that this smaller newer product was much louder (hum and vibration). The compressor is so loud on this and vibrates so much that part of the noise pollution comes from the glass bottles in the fridge vibrating on the shelves. And the shelves are made with hard plastic and items light enough can vibrate on it as well. The fingerprints are new to us and we will try the special cleaner for stainless. And the ice maker is crazy loud as well. Never new our other fridge was such a whisper. Also, one of the shelves is sitting on top of the fridge because there is a lack of enough slots to reposition it for us. I do like the pantry door.

It even reminds me if I've left the door ajar. The freezer is convenient and easy to organize; and the icemaker a real convenience. LG I'm all in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been looking for a traditional freezer on top style refrigerator but when we saw this LG French Door appliance we were sold on its easy to use features such as the generous size bottom freezer with ice maker; the wide pull out drawer in the refrigerator section; easy to change shelves; and nice central location to change temperatures, etc. The stainless steel is easy to clean and with the ample door handles we hardly ever touch the doors themselves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In less the 5 years we have replaced 3 of the plastic components used for storage in the refrigerator. Last week the compressor stopped working so both refrigerator and freezer has stopped working. Fortunately we were able to move all of our food down to a 15 year old Amana refrigerator that we keep in the basement. The extended warranty that we purchased from the retailer did not cover any of the plastic components but fortunately it covered the compressor. The refrigerator will have been down for nearly 2 1/2 weeks by the time the compressor is expected to arrive.

We bought this last spring and it’s constantly making a humming and vibrating noise. We try to move things around, but it doesn’t help. I see other people say it’s quiet so I guess we got a lemon. All the features are wonderful, but it’s very annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is by far the best refrigerator we have ever purchased, first of all it is no worries on finger prints, if you get some just dry paper towel removes instantly, there is a lot of room, just need to figure it out if you've never had french doors, which we have not, it took some getting used to but all in all it is a great fridge! The ice maker is actually a great feature again something we have never had and it is not really loud. The fridge is quite which is a bonus the freezer has a ton of space even though the ice maker is in it! We love ours and I guess it is true you get what you pay for, pricier but worth it for sure!
