Looking to the stars

Easy minor assembly, fast delivery, seems to see the stars without any effort

Great start of a new hobby

When you purchase a cheap telescope, you must expect cheap results. Can you see the moon? Absolutely! However, anything outside the center of the viewing window is distorted and has a blue or red hue. Can you see mars? Absolutely! Mars looks like a sharp red star. Can you see Jupiter? ABSOLUTELY! Jupiter looks like a bright star with four stars in a line with it. Spoiler: you can see the Galilean moons through this telescope! They’re tiny, but you can see them. Can you see Saturn! Absolutely! It looks like a star. Can you see Uranus? Absolutely! It looks like a star. Can you see Neptune? It took a few tries, but… absolutely! Neptune is dim, but you can see it through this telescope. What about Venus? I saw Venus too, but it just looks like a star. What’s the point? Cheap telescope means cheap results. The coolest things I saw through this telescope were Jupiter and the Orion nebula, which looks like two stars surrounded by a teal haze. What is this telescope’s biggest downfall? The tripod is awful. Shakiest thing known to man. You know what though? I spent $54 on this telescope and had more fun that I thought possible with it. Did I outgrow it? Yes. BUT I had a great time and I got my money’s worth out of it. Are you considering buying this telescope? It’s on sale for $37 right now. I say just buy it and have fun.
