I bought this telescope and set it up without looking at the directions. My kids and I saw jupiter and 3 of its moons with it. It's very basic but what would you expect for that price?

This telescope is not worth the cardboard it came in, I put down my drink only to pick it back up again because after 30 minutes of trying to focus on the moon it was less painful to just look up at it with my own eyes. My nephew asked me to return it and he’s 3 years old.

Ok so I bought this with the hopes of giving this to my Grandson for Christmas the same way I received my first Telescope a Tasco 3TE-R telescope way back in 1968. Which was what inspired me to become an Aerospace Engineer. Well this nothing at all like or close to what joy my Tasco gave me. The fact is the cheap tripod legs were not even stable as the one I use on my Iphone! But what the heck one can always get a better Tripod so I gave it a chance still and used my tripod instead. Then the realization final came that this telescope if you can call it one... could not even focus on anything... Sorry to say but the Item that shaped my Future some 50+ year ago is not going to be this Item. To me if you are going to sell an item that is geared for a budding child maybe you should first make sure it does not become a total disappointment and a USELESS learning tool. Sorry but this item is going back as I suspect many others will be after Christmas Day.

Couldn’t even put together. Directions are horrible.

Good for finding large targets like the moon. We have an iphone and it doesn’t work with the adapter. Difficult for my 5 year old, even with assistance.

I didn’t want this kind but I seen a deal all though it isn’t really because it don’t work at all I can see only black %26 certainly scratches in it… very sad , was very disappointed

The phone holder cant even hold an IPhone at all! Whats the point of getting it to take pictures if I cant take pictures?!

Just don’t even think about it. Just pass it right on. Going to return this tomorrow. What a waste. Doesn’t work. At all.

I didn’t listen to the reviews and gave it a shot. Not worth the money even with the $11 discount. My daughter was so disappointed.
