This is my first telescope. I was very impressed with the presentation of the telescope. It has a carrying case with pockets. This makes it very organized and easy to transport. The directions for set up were a little confusing but manageable. Overall, I really like this telescope. Clear images can be seen through the lens.

It was a huge hit with the whole family! We were all amazed at the quality of what we could see. I wasn’t sure how much use this thing would get. I was expecting it to get the occasional use but the kids love it and we have been discovering new constellations weekly. Highly recommend! Great way to get the whole family involved in an activity together. Bonus: super compact and easy to store.

This is a well made item and comes with a durable case to keep it safe when it’s not being used. Kids have a great time going into backyard and setting this up to gaze at the stars. Product is easy to put together, lens is clear and kids love to look at the stars, I love the case for safe keeping.

I can say I was definitely impressed with this telescope. Since it was recommended for 10 years and up I didn’t expect it to be so clear and to be able to see as much as we did. An extra benefit is you are able to take pictures with your smart phone included adapter. Lots of neat features with 2 separate eyepieces and also comes with a convenient travel bag.

This is a great telescope for the price! I got it for my nephew and neice who love looking a the stars! I can't wait to take this out into the country to look at the night sky without all of the light pollution!

Nice telescope that would be perfect for the eclipse coming up this summer. It has a carry bag, two lenses and compacts down very nicely. Includes a guard to be able to use to look at an eclipse. Very nice telescope.

This is a nice entry level telescope. We used it to look at the moon and could see a good amount of detail and craters. We also used it during the day to look across the lake at a bald eagle approx 1/2 mile away. There is a built in cell phone holder to capture photos, but we just took a quick photo of the eagle on his perch by hovering the phone camera over the lens. By the time I set my phone in the holder, the eagle was gone--though it is a nice addition to have and I definitely plan to use it in the future. The tripod stand is a little flimsy, but gets the job done. We're looking forward to using this telescope in 2024 for the total eclipse!

A really great telescope! We love using it to see planets and stars! Our kids enjoy having this at home as well. Captures the moon and deep stars with great clarity. We also love that you can attach your cell to it and we can save the pictures to our cell! So awesome!

The National Geographic 70MM is a good starter telescope for kids. It was easy to set up and my 7 year old and 10 year old nephews enjoyed it. We were able to see the stars in the sky at night clearly. Overall this is a good telescope for kids.

Super cute and easy telescope! My husband and 4 year old daughter loves exploring their surroundings with this! It was extremely quick and easy to set up and take down which is always a plus. Not too expensive to stress over when allowing your kids to explore with it. My daughter who is four had an easy time looking out and looking at nature and into the sky. Such a great activity for your littles and the rest of your family!
