The tripod is shakey. The solar filter just sits on the lens, I though it would snap or screw into place. Haven't had much chance to use the telescope, because of cloud cover and cold weather.

Very light weight telescope to handle. Almost too light. Very nice lens. Good for a child to move around and use. Good scope to look at the sky. Children will love this as a first scope to use and review the stars. Overall, nice to use and buy.

I wish i could give this 10 stars! It’s fun looking at the stars with the kids and teaching them about astronomy! Also we like to use this to bird watch! Very clear view and set up very easy! We may get a 2nd one !!!

This was a gift for my husband. He put it together and it broke at the connection to the tripod. Upon further inspection, we could see how where it looked like the tripod had been repaired before. Will be returning in store.

Always wanted to own a telescope but did not know how complicated they were to use. This one came with easy to assemble directions and a convenient carrying case with handles. I plan on gifting to my grandsons to watch the eclipse in 2024.

I am gifting this to my son as a Christmas present. I haven’t really opened it yet but I checked out the ones in the store and they look very nice. The view is very clear and it is great to explore the night sky.

My Grandson and Nephew are so happy with this gift. They both use it every night. It was an excellent gift for a man in his twenties and a boy in his teens.

Easy to put together and nice carrying case. Can see clearly star patterns and details on the moon, on a clear night. Detailing could be a little better. Solar cover for daytime use is a plus. More to discover.

Bought with intention of viewing the sun via enclosed filter but upon opening. Ugh. Very weak/cheap plastic construction. Still, tried using it but not able to actually mark it accomplished.

This is a great beginner telescope. I got this for my 10 year old don and it has sparked a new interest in the stars and solar system. We use it to look at the moon all the time and cant weight for mars to come back into view.
