I love this product. I was very skeptical in the beginning because I have 3 dogs with long hair (Shellie, Collie and Border Collie) and was afraid I'd be emptying the bin or brush every five minutes. I was very pleasantly surprised how well the Roomba cleaned and didn't need to be emptied. It takes about an hour to go through the cleaning cycle at my house and I don't need to empty it until the end! I'm very happy with how well it transitions from cleaning my wood floors in some rooms and carpets in others. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because occasionally it doesn't remember my house pattern and misses some spots but overall it does a great job. Highly recommend!

It's amazing just how much debris this little appliance picks up. It's easy to clean out the debris bin. It is a little noisy, but if I need some "quiet" time because my daughter is visiting for coffee, I can always stop the appliance temporarily and start it back up again after my daughter leaves. No big deal. It really helps me keep my hardwood and tile floors clean--and climbs over the area rugs effortlessly. Because my furniture is so low to the ground, it cannot get under it. But I'll keep that in mind when we buy new living room furniture. I love this appliance and love that it has a smartphone app that I can use to program it as well as receive messages when the job is finished or whenever it meets with an "impasse".

I really like the day to day cleaning of my hardwood floors and bathroom tile. This cuts down on dust and hair which apparently I shed often. Downside is it gets stuck on my bathmat and random things like socks so you do have to be a cleaner/neater person in general and this is just an aid to keep things tidy.

I love that it vacuums while I'm doing other things! I can use it while I'm home, or I can start it while I'm away. It gets under my beds and furniture, and the dust is really being kept to a minimum now. This is THE coolest gift I have ever received. I can't believe I didn't get one sooner. If you have small children, this is a MUST have. It will save you tons of time. I LOVE IT! Can't say enough good things about it.

I'll admit I'm new to this Roomba thing. I received this Roomba as a gift and was looking forward to it helping me to keep up with sweeping. Not expecting it to clean every floor flawlessly, but spot cleaning or general upkeep was definitely a wish...... This thing cleans when it wants to, or when it runs over something that it can pick up. The small debris sometimes just get pushed around the floor but it does pick up quite a bit that it gets to. Since this model is not one that maps out the room, I will say that if you're expecting it to clean all of the room, you may be disappointed as it roams around randomly and misses quite a bit. It will clean what it can't avoid....much like my teenagers. After the Roomba cleans, I find myself following up with a broom and sweeping anyway. But it's not a replacement for brooms. It does put itself back on its charger and when I empty the bin, it does get a lot of small dirt and debris. It's not too noisy and unlike a vacuum, my dog doesn't try to attack it. My kids have lovingly named it the Millermaid2000, but that was before we used it for the first time. Long story short, it's a good product, but if you can afford the more expensive models, I recommend upgrading.

This machine is amazing. I was a skeptic of a small vacuum because we are a busy , male dominated household. We have 2 dogs and cats and I would vacuum everyday. My kids bought the iRobot for me at Christmas . Right out of the box it went to work. I love this thing and I use it everyday ! It makes my whole house look cleaner and does a great job with pet hair , especially on the hard wood where sweeping sometimes just scatters the hair, the iRobot get the hair ! I have had 3 spine surgeries and the iRobot is a life saver for my back. Everyone should have a iRobot in their home❣️

We liked the idea and hope that future technology can provide a better model. We now do considerable prep work to avoid: 1) expensive Persian rugs are rolled up on the sides so that robot doesn't run over them, pulling out wool threads. 2) lift all chairs and key obstacles so thT robot doesn't bump round and round and better covers large surfaces. Even after prep work I estimate that it covers only 70-80% of surface area based on observations and residual dirt I find after use.

The first one I get cannot connect to my phone. Had to replace it. The second one works well, except that often it stops at the end and cannot make back to the base to charge. I have to take it back myself. Overall I like it a lot: saves time and does pick up a lot of stuff.

Very easy set up. Begins a clean cycle every day. It picks up a good amount of dust and hair all over, including under furniture and along baseboards. However, out of 10 cycles, it fails to return to dock 9 times. If you like treasure hunts, it is great! We have to go find it every day. I gave it a star because it does clean pretty well.

With both of us working full time and me attending school, this a great addition that makes our family's busy lives easier. We have a few options that allow us to either vacuum when we want, pre-schedule to automatically vacuum at a certain day, or we can remotely start the vacuum from our phone app and even while we're away. It definitely takes one major task off our plate and is actually fun and satisfying to watch while I am doing other chores or studying. The only feedback I have is that we have to empty the bin after every cleaning but they do have other models that auto-cleans. It also doesn't go over our living room rug which I think is odd since it does the kitchen one plus the slight ledges from the wooden floor of the kitchen and front entrance that transitions to the carpet. It does go under our couches and cleans the whole apartment in one setting. I do not know how well it does with pet hair and dander, but hopefully they have a special filter specifically for animals.
