When I first got my Roomba, I LOVED it. Yes he got stuck a few times but he cleaned nicely got under my bed and other furniture and just made my day to day life with a cat that much simpler. However a month in and my Roomba is constantly telling me he is stuck or on an edge. His sensors are clean. It's a well lit room, and he'll be in the middle of a white carpet and tell me he's on an edge... on top of that he will clean for 8 minutes not even doing a fourth of the room and go dock telling me the job has been completed. I'm not very happy about it. And I just haven't had the time to call Roomba's customer care. But I will be doing that shortly.

It used to be good about cleaning the entire floor properly. Lately, its has been constantly trapping itself in one room then using up its battery there. Right now, the base is located in the main room where I want it to clean and it finds its way through the only opening to the place where I do not want it. I pick it up and set it as far as possible from the opening and it immediately it finds its way back there and using the virtual wall inst an option at the moment as it is being used to block water bowls for pets. It defeats the purpose of the vacuum if I have to keep picking it up.

This product is amazing! However it keeps crashing into corners. Once it got stuck on the front door and once it went into my room and ate all my stuff. However i've read other reviews about other roombas and this one is the best. I thought irobot was good but when i read the reviews i was so surprised because i finally knew how terrible the other robots were. I have a 380t and some issues. But the 692 had no issues.

I have this prescheduled to run at 1am. I simply close our bedroom door and go to bed, waking up to clean floors. We have 3 dogs, you can't tell the floors are dirty but when I empty the vac, it shows differently. I would but this over and over, it's a game changer and it cuts down on the dust too!

My wife had these up and running before I knew they were out of the box. They work extremely well. I have had no issues with them at all. My wife liked hers so much that she told me to send one to my sister. My sister flipped out when she received her iRobot. Then my wife told me to order a third for the upstairs of our home, for the carpeted areas. That one is still in the box, as we are remodeling the entire home. Had I known that these were NOT Toys, I would have bought one a lot sooner. If you do not have one, I suggest you get one. They are Amazing! I doubt I will ever use anything else. Unless it is a pricier model.

We held off on buying one questioning how much we'd like it, then my In-Laws gave us one for Christmas. As the headline read: One of the Best Gifts Ever! As I learned the machine and watched it function I grew more impressed with its efficiency, design, quality, and construction, especially the dual rotating sweepers and dust bin filter and fan! It transitions well between rooms with doorway transoms and onto and off of rugs.

I have three relatively low pile area rugs with simple borders. No tassels or bumps to be climbed by the machine. I am now in my third week of using my new Roomba and have to say that I am underwhelmed at the difficulty it has with the area rugs. It is extremely inconsistent in how it treats the rugs. Sometimes it treats the edge as an obstacle and changes course. Sometimes it treats it like ordinary flooring and cleans a little of it with no problems. But usually it gets stopped for many imaginary reasons once it is cleaning one of the rugs. On average it gets stuck 10 to 12 times per 90 minute battery charge. And, to add insult, when I move the stopped machine to a completely different room it often finds its way back to where it got stuck,… and you guessed it - stuck again. While I like the job that it does on my bare floors, it just seems to be too little benefit for the constant rescuing that has to be done because of the incessant stops. I do not know if other models or brands do better with area rugs but I would do some serious checking before buying one if you have area rugs.

Our Roomba is like the wife my husband never had. She can clean 2 times/day (when the floors look spotless) and she still has a full bin when finished! Yes, you do have to pick up before she runs (but don't we do that when vacuuming, otherwise?) and yes she misses things on occasion, but let's remember she doesn't technically have eyes. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs-one of which is a German Shepherd who sheds enough fur daily to manufacture small coats and Roomba has significantly improved the cleanliness of our household! She's like part of the family!

We had a dog and Ralph gets under bed and cleaned out the lingering fur! On its first run! Will help in the cleaning of our home on a twice weekly basis. It does bump into a lot of obstacles and have to figure out easier routes even though it always turns to the right.

Rosie arrived as a Christmas gift. She happily settled in and started cleaning. At first, she was joyful - but one day she got stuck under the futon sofa and began spinning in distress. Rosie scratched her shiny new top deeply and she was saddened. She asked me to buy her a new faceplate, but alas iRobot doesn't seem to sell that part. A couple of days later she tried to commit suicide by knocking over a small plant stand with a bonsai tree. I heard a large crash and went to see what is was. Luckily I was just in time to save Rosie as she headed for the puddle of water and mud. All is not lost, I found a skin for the top and wrapped the base of the sofas and aquarium stand in pool noodles to keep her from trouble. Seriously, this is an awesome little vacuum, my floors look amazing, and someday I may buy one of the models that have a mapping function to keep it safe from harm.
