[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a terrific dishwasher, I like the extra features that it has the third top shelf. It cleans the dishes beautifully. My favorite part is when it's done the door pops open and let me know it's finished and when the dishes will be ready to take out.

I purchased this "whisper quiet" and "so quiet you won't even know it's on" dishwasher in June of this year when we moved into our new home. Immediately I discovered that I could clearly hear the dishwasher, in fact I would even describe it as relatively loud. It is rated at 42 dBA, and my meter ratings had it pulsing as high as 63 dBA. It took awhile for me to get to arranging service as we had just moved in and had so much to do. When the Samsung repair people arrived, they had no concept of how loud it was supposed to be and told me that the machine was operating properly even though they themselves did a decibel measure that pulsed to 63 dBA. They called Samsung technical support who claimed -- out of the blue -- that the reading needed to be done TEN feet away from the machine. That reading STILL pulsed to the 50s, and Samsung tech support said that was within acceptable range. So quite frankly, I have no idea what the "42 dBA" advertised for this machine means. We have an open concept kitchen and purchased this dishwasher so that it could run while we were eating and we wouldn't hear it, which, as is clear by now, is absolutely not the case. I've attempted to continue to pursue my issue with Samsung. After my service appointment, I called in and I was given a claim number and told that I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. No one called me. I called myself a week later and was told that my claim was cancelled as the service techs deemed there was "nothing wrong" with my machine, despite the meter readings they themselves did. I asked to be elevated to a supervisor and I am now awaiting that callback, if it ever happens. It's an absolute clown show. I am a GIANT Samsung customer -- I've purchased MULTIPLE phones, watches, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators -- EVERYTHING. I am normally very happy with their products and customer service, but they've absolutely browned the bed on this one. If you are expecting a machine that you "won't know it's on," DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I can't overstate the degree to which the product, and the subsequent service/support, has utterly failed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with my new Samsung Dishwasher. This dishwasher is very quiet and cleans very thoroughly. One of the unique features I like the best is the top slide out drawer which is perfect for Tupperware lids and small flat objects like large spoons or pizza cutters. My wife and I also like the Smart dry function which opens the door a little once it is finished drying. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher to others looking for a new dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's stainless yet magnetic. Silent yet has lights so we don't open it while it's running! Dishes come out nearly perfect. This replaced a very loud plastic tub/door model and it performed flawlessly. Easy to add via smart things app. Storm wash is great. Filter is simple and easy to take out for cleaning. The dishwasher actually drys quite well if you use rinse aid both with or without door release. High temp dry does air gas's off some oily smell, likely the sound deadening mats but it's fleeting as we ad on more cycles.

Took a little while to learn how to use it with the electronics....had it only a month now but it's doing well. Delivery was great they made sure it was hooked up and cleaned up after themselves. And I love the look of it. The no fingerprints on is great, love the color easy to clean... the door pops open to help with drying . Love I can use my phone if I forget to turn it on...

The only thing I don't like is on the bottom rack compared to the Samsung we replaced is that the bottom pegs are not straight. Plates and bowls do not site nicely like our previous model. Overall it's nice but plates and bowls don't stack well.

My last one had broken and when the opportunity to try a new Samsung one came up I was very excited. In comparison, this one is very quiet even on the most powerful settings. My last one could be heard from the other side of my house. This one also is very powerful. It cleans my cat bowls as if they were brand new and leaves no smells behind. The feature of leaving the door open upon completion has been great to not leave water on anything and to really assist with drying. It has a ton of space and is very versatile in being able to rearrange things as needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a new dishwasher.

New home purchase in July 2023 came with this dishwasher. The unit is quiet and seems to clean ok. I wish they had put an explanation of the cycles in the quick guide. In October the door leaked a large amount of water on the floor. The builder contacted Samsung and they came out within a week. They ended up replacing the whole inside of the door a few weeks later. It seems other reviewers are having the same issue. I would steer clear of this dishwasher if I were purchasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my new dishwasher! It's modern design made a huge difference to updating my kitchen. It does a great job washing dishes. It's super quiet and I can barely tell if it's running, but thankfully the door automatically opens when the cycle finishes which is very helpful in communicating when dishes are clean. It can really pack in a lot of dishes and placement is flexible due to all of the adjustments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung DW80B7071US is the best dishwasher I have ever owned! It has many modes of operation, from a mode to clean the dirtiest pots and pans to an Autoclean feature, which I use the most. These can be selected from the control panel on top of the door or set via wi-fi using the Samsung Smart Things app on my phone. It alerts me when the cycle is complete with a chime and a message on my phone; how convenient. The dishes all come out clean, even the dirtiest baking pan. I particularly like to layout of the lower rack. There is plenty of room for silverware, and the supports for dishes are angled so that each one stands up straight, not leaning on the one next to it. It uses a fan instead of a heating element to dry, so there is no problem drying plastic items without them melting. Finally, it is very quiet and easy to clean as the stainless steel front is fingerprint resistant. I would recommend this model to a friend.
