I beat the steaks with a meat hammer, then reshape them and wrap the outer edge in bacon, pour a little Worcester sauce on and some salt and pepper. They are absolutely delicious.

I was so sad to get filets that were mushy for my July 4th cookout. I did everything right, I've never had mushy steak in my life until today. These were poor cuts of meat passed off as prime.

Beware of Prime Tenderloin steaks. 2 of the 4 pieces were from the small end of the tenderloin and were very chewy. Very poor cut by the meat cutters, especially for prime steak!!

I have bought Filet at other High End grocery stores. They could never compare with what I got in Restaurants. These were every bit as tender as any I have had.

Too much fat!!! Someone didn't trim these correctly. I paid nearly $30 a point for giant chunks of fat that I had to trim off. Why would I buy them already trimmed if they were just going to be covered in silver skin and giant, useless chunks of fat. I paid over $30 for fat as the pile I've cut is over a pound.

Bought a 4 pack of prime fillets on Saturday 4/4 for my Son's birthday dinner. Unfortunately, 2 were tender and great, 2 were full of grissle. Very tough. Thankfully my son and girlfriend got one of the tender ones A lot of me money for 2 edible steaks.

This is my last purchase of a the 4 cut tenderloin filets. The last 2 purchases we made had 3 of the 4 cuts that were uneatable. We cook our streaks medium rare, yet the meat was full of gristle and so tough a sharp streak knife could barely cut the meat. This is marketed as USDA Prime. Hard to believe. My apologies to the lady next to me who made a selection next to me and I shared these were usually good cuts of meat. I hope your experience was better.
