I buy tenderloin from Sams Club a lot. I also pick up my grocery orders. Well this pack of tenderloins was packaged with ends. Two small filets and two large ones. Very disappointed bcause there were 4 of us for dinner and there was question who gets the small pieces. I had to cut the beautiful steaks into smaller pieces. But nobody received a steak. This pkg wasnt cheap. It was prime meat. I made it into filet chunks. Will buy again but butchers need to make the packages similar pieces

Was horrible. No were near the quality of meat I have recieved in the past. Didnt think there should be so much grisly parts. I had to trash about half of one piece. Also other part looked like they were cut up stew meat that were just packaged together. Have been very disappointed in the delivery option as of late.

All four steaks looked wonderful, and three of them were. The fourth, however, had the good side up and the gristled side hidden. I gave the good ones to my guests and wife, while I suffered through the piece that should have been ground into hamburger. They were far too expensive to pass off that garbage as prime tenderloin!

These steaks are consistently good. The only thing I don’t like is they usually come four in a package and the fourth one is an end cut and not as good. They cost a premium so I expect all steaks should be premium cut. I’m careful to get a package with four center cut steaks and they are great.

Three of the steaks were lovely. We got one end pieces that was tough and we were unable too eat. I would not have picked this pack, but I ordered them and we picked up at the store. They were for my husbands birthday and not as nice as the usual steaks from Sam's.

We buy our meat from Sams very often. The tender filets were not even close to the quality we are use to with Sams. The sell or freeze by date on the pack was 5 days away when we purchased, and was grilled within 3 hours after leaving the store. The meat had a slightly off smell, but i went with it anyway. After cooking, it just didnt taste right. No one got sick or anything but these steaks were just not good, especially considering the cost for filets.

This was our first disappointing experience with 2 of the 4 steaks. They had tendons in them making part of both steaks inedible and even trying to remove part we were left with only pieces and still part was very tough. I was grateful we didn’t have guests for dinner. This is not what I expected. If this was the first time, I purchased this item from you, it would be the last.

Buying the Prime cut filet tenderloin is always a crap shoot. Sometimes there are what they should be, tender and good flavor. Other times they are tuff, fatty, and has silver skin. When paying the higher price for tenderloin we should be getting premium meat. I’m not sure if this is the the quality of the meat or how it’s cut

I always buy my steaks from SAM’S CLUB, and rave about their quality, especially when they are prime. I was very disappointed with my last purchase. I felt cheated, as the date on the package indicated that it was freshly cut, when it was old meat. It tasted awful. I will never buy filet mignons from there again, as I learnt that I can’t trust the date on the package. Form now on, I will only purchase whole tenderloin filets, which are prepackaged and dated, and cut them up myself.
