Excellent quality Prime filets!!

Great steak…smoked to 120 and seared.

They had very good flavor

So tender you can almost cut them with a fork

Make sure you go in and pick your own. The shopper for us picked a horrible pack. Like they did not even look. I normally like these tenderloins, but all were end pieces of the tenderloin.

On 1 May we purchased a package of Beef Tenderloin Filet from the Sam's Club in Rapid City SD. We have been making such a purchase from that Sam's club for several years and have always enjoyed the quality and flavor of the product. It has been an integral portion of our favorite dinner when we entertain family or out of town guests at our house for a gathering. The product we purchased on 1 May was a complete disappointment. Each of the 4 steaks in the package had a considerable amount of fat on them, which was necessary to trim off before they could be cooked. In the process of trimming the fat a considerable amount of blood was found underneath the fat layers. The presence of blood in butchered meat is completely unappetizing and definitely unacceptable and not healthy. This was the first time we have ever seen this in any of the prime beef packages we have purchased from this Sam's Club.

Items were fine had to keep verifying stuff on your app to be able to use it efficiently. Kind of defeats the purpose of using the app.

Filet should not that this much fat. I only had a small portion of edible meat.
