This review is for the service since I didn’t eat the cupcakes. They were bought for a child’s class party. One of the things that bothers me is the differences in service between the stores. In another store, Fountain Valley, these Grinch cupcakes were simply and plentifully on the floor ready to go. But at Long Beach not only were they not available but I had to submit an order for them if I wanted them on time the following morning. I offered to pay for the decorations and a batch of undecorated cupcakes to put together myself but that too was a No because Sam’s Club is obligated by license to use the specific colors on the cupcakes. So I bought cupcakes with a somewhat Christmas motif of sprinkles and even those were barely noticeable. I think ‘stingey’ can be applied to the bakery at Long Beach Sam’s Club. I’ll be driving the extra 7 miles out of my way to Fountain Valley. Oh, and my receipt nonetheless reads ‘Grinch cupcakes’ which they were not. For heaven’s sake… I got sympathy from the guy at the exit when I explained what happened. I mean the receipt has to match the product, right?! And he just shook his head. Appreciated the gesture which is the only reason this review For Service got any stars.

Showed up early with the pickup order and was told we had to go to our vehicle and get the Sams Club app and order and they would bring our order out. So after one hour of downloading the app and waiting in our vehicle we finally got our order. Never again. What a fiasco. We were inside the store just give us our order but NO. Go wait in your car... They suck

I ordered the grinch theme for a class party. This was placed 3 days in advanced. I did not receive grinch themed cup cakes. Their excuse was that they ran out. A friend did not place an order, went to the store and was able to purchase Grinch themed cupcakes the night before I was to pick up my order. Extremely upsetting that they do not make sure they have the material to first complete their online prepaid orders. Students were disappointed as they were looking forward to the Grinch themed cup cakes.

Great price. Cupcakes were tasty and well designed. Not a huge fan of frosting but it is about the standard amount you see now a days. Only wish they sold mix and match so you can get all white cake or all chocolate cake instead of a 50/50 split of each.

Fall Cupcakes. Not quite as displayed in picture and the fall sprinkles were missing. But otherwise, good tasty cupcakes in the correct flavors and color icing. Because these were "specialty/seasonal" item, could not order as normal. Had to order on the app, not in the store. App slightly more difficult to follow for ordering on specialty items. Would have been easier to just walk into the store and purchase ready made, but was afraid they might be out.

Hold on to the middle. The plastic container cupcakes are in is very thin and cheap. We have had the lid separate from the bottom and all the cupcakes fall to the floor. We have had to ask for tape to hold it shut. We have been told they changed the packaging and it is so cheap. Hold the cupcakes from the middle, but hard to do.

I bought these cupcakes because they were red, white and blue for 4th of July celebration. They were okay but I am not a fan of the whipped icing and even my grandkids didn't seem interested in eating them so I would not buy the again. But if someone likes the whipped cream type icing, they may love them.

I always get all of my cupcakes from Sam’s Club. They are hands down the absolute best! For holidays to birthdays everyone always asks where we get the cupcakes because they are a crowd favorite. They are always extremely moist and rich with flavor. I will never get my cupcakes anywhere else.

I buy these cupcakes every month for our church‘s birthdays. I also bought them for my Daycare Christmas party yearly and any other time we need a bunch of cupcakes. They are very good. And most people ask where did you get these from and I always tell them Sam’s Club.

I ordered 30 Valentine’s Day cupcakes from Sam’s Club, Highway 64. The Valentine’s Day cupcakes included NO DECORATIONS!!! I was Very disappointed. I was told that the supplies ran out. I was told that they did not receive enough decorating prepackaged supplies. How does a huge company that has a bakery run out of supplies? Valentine’s Day? It would be great to make your order with the people at the bakery. The bakery employees would have the opportunity to place orders for more premade decorative supplies if needed. Your only option is to either use the App or website and order online. It would be appreciated by some customers if you could just walk in and order from the employees. Their assistance was greatly appreciated at that time. Everyone is not a happy fan of ordering online.
