[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super surprised when my daughter bought this fridge. I come home and bam what is this futuristic amazing thing in the kitchen!? Well not only is Samsung my favorite company for all my devices but clearly they make great appliances too! Couldn't be more pleased.

we purchased a samsung because we had purchased a samsung washer many years ago and loved it. we haven't had any issues with our refrigerator. it's not as "fingerprint resistant" as much as i was hoping. we also love the no handle feature. two cons that we have experienced. one, the ice machine is small! our family likes a lot of ice in their drinks and also seems to replenish slowly---so much so we now have an ice machine to use when we have family or company over. the second is we had one of the shelves literally shatter when cleaning this week. unsure of what would make it do that because (a.) it was on the plastic end and on a rubber mat in the sink, (b.) it was just warm water and dish det. over all, it has been a great purchase. hope this helps!

The Good news! l love the refrigerator overall. Fits perfectly, doors open fully even inserted between kitchen cabinets, and very quiet. The bad news....so the ice maker makes perfect ice cubes. The problem is that I have it set on "cubes" and at least 50 percent of the time i get "crushed" ice out of the door. I called warranty support, first time they didn't show up during the 4 hour window. Called again, someone came out, took it apart, put it back together said it was fixed....but it still gives crushed ice half the time..

the door swings open and no way to stop the door from hitting the counter. it knocked my 4 year old in the face swinging without any resistence or stop.. the door is heavy and her little hand gets stuck inbetween doors injuring her wrist bad! this happened to my hand also and hurt so bad. i have called counteless times and get the run around and no call back as promised. do not buy this fridge trust me..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most the time a refrigerator purchase is limited to what's affordable in your price range and you have to live with what you get. There's not much that has changed in refrigeration technology from when I bought my first one 40 years ago. Essentially they all do the same thing, keep your food cold. I've seen trends come and go with all sorts of designs and weird features. This refrigerator however keeps everything classic, but gives it a modern twist. Not many people are into side by side these days, but after experience with top and bottom, and french door, side-by-side is what I feel fits my needs best in regards to accessing my food quickly. The door handles are hidden which gives this a sleek look. The ice maker makes ice, the water dispenser dispenses it. It does everything it needs to and it does it gracefully. There's no loud machines whirring or shaking. It runs super quiet which was a must for us as we live in a smaller space with an open concept floor plan. The 10 year warranty on the compressor gives us peace that our investment is going to last as well. I had a small issue which samsung support quickly addressed so you know you have the backing of one of the best and biggest companies in the game right now. Bottom line, if you're looking for side-by-side, you will be hard pressed to find anything better than this refrigerator.

One of the coolest features is the mobile app notification if the door is left open. No more wondering if the door was closed tightly enough! I also appreciate the overall integration of Samsung appliances within the SmartThings mobile app. Highly recommended.

i bought it in the summer of 2021 and used it for about 6 months. i had a samsung french door refrigerator, but i bought it because it has more kitchen space and a simple design. i also like that it has enough capacity for a family of four, a very simple and clean design without a handle on the outside, no fingerprints, and a good taste of water. there is a lot of space required to open the door, so it is not at all inconvenient to open and close the door even without a handle. i trust all samsung products because i know that samsung is thoroughly consumer-oriented when it comes to making all of its products. thank you for providing a lot of products at a good price.

i had a good experience with samsung in the past so took a shot at this one and kind of regret it. - i didn't want a connected fridge but making compromises with other models/brands i chose this one anyway. and, unsurprisingly, there is not way to disable the wifi on the fridge. why? isn't there enough saturation already that now i need my fridge to be another access point broadcasting 24/7? - it is not fingerprint resistant at all. - the ice maker is weird. it works, but unlike my past fridges, it takes several seconds for the cubes to drop and when they do, you don't know if you'll get one, 3 or maybe 5. - the fridge makes a very high pitch sound when it runs. not that loud but quite irritating.

this refrigerator replaces another brand. it does not have as many bells and whistles, but it is an excellent refrigerator for the cost. it is slightly noisier than i expected, but that's a minimal issue. if it remains consistent for 12 months, i would probably add the fifth star. i would definitely recommend and i would definitely buy again.

Dents very easily..... bumping into it with a laundry basket/a box/bag of groceries just the right way leaves dents/deep lines/dents in the 'stainless steel', more like tin can density. I am disappointed in the quality of the exterior... we don't have little kids, just every day walking through the kitchen and a slight bump damages the exterior..
