I trust all SAMSUNG products

i bought it in the summer of 2021 and used it for about 6 months. i had a samsung french door refrigerator, but i bought it because it has more kitchen space and a simple design. i also like that it has enough capacity for a family of four, a very simple and clean design without a handle on the outside, no fingerprints, and a good taste of water. there is a lot of space required to open the door, so it is not at all inconvenient to open and close the door even without a handle. i trust all samsung products because i know that samsung is thoroughly consumer-oriented when it comes to making all of its products. thank you for providing a lot of products at a good price.

Ice Maker is no good

My husband and I purchased all new Samsung appliances when we purchased our home. This was the worst mistake. Shortly after the 30 days we started experiencing issues. The icemaker is the worst. It freezes up and makes a huge mess. When trying to dispense ice it gets clogged and does not come out properly. In fact we purchased a countertop icemaker because we can no longer use the one on the fridge. When trying to get an appointment it is a long process and inconvenience. Needless to say they call and make an appointment for said date, on that date they call and then schedule the appointment. Like why can't I get the actual appointment the first time instead of having to wait another month. I do not recommend this fridge. Also, the whole sales pitch of fingerprints...they are visible and it does show smears.

Just one issue

The Good news! l love the refrigerator overall. Fits perfectly, doors open fully even inserted between kitchen cabinets, and very quiet. The bad news....so the ice maker makes perfect ice cubes. The problem is that I have it set on "cubes" and at least 50 percent of the time i get "crushed" ice out of the door. I called warranty support, first time they didn't show up during the 4 hour window. Called again, someone came out, took it apart, put it back together said it was fixed....but it still gives crushed ice half the time..

Poor design choices and lacking freezer space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge: Enough space for 1-2 person 1 week worth of healthy groceries. Freezer: Too darn tiny of a freezer, There should be at least as much space as the fridge for the freezer for those who meal prep and keep frozen supplies on hand for a week or two ahead. Water filter: INCREDIBLY terrible location, very inconvenient to change, this needs to be redesigned to be on top instead of bottom, makes no sense at all, worst part: no valve internally for the water line, so if you have had a terrible design of where the water tap for the fridge is located (i.e. behind it), you have to move this hunk of junk every 6 months to turn the actual infrastructure tap off, then you can safely replace the filter. The stainless "steel" is paper thin, INCREDIBLY EASY to push in and bruise/deform, even by a simple contact with a cabinet door knob next to it. water dispenser push lever/button/surface is way too deep and not very sensitive, you have to press the top of it, and there is also quite a bit of delay involved if you are not familiar with this fridge. Additionally, the opening for the icemaker/water dispenser is not wide enough to accommodate a large dog bowl or a properly sized ice bucket. When dispensing ice, no matter what container you try to use, even a simple glass, YOU WILL GET ice particles thrown around with force and on the ground... safety hazard. Nice things: Autodefrost Lighting is ok, could be better on the sides across every shelf Freezer lighting is miserable if you do not have outside lighting to accomodate All in all 2/5 stars is generous for this fridge for being a "smart" fridge and having the latest ux design concepts available in this day and age which this lacks sorely. Considering the price, meh. My next fridge will be very researched.

poor quality exterior

Dents very easily..... bumping into it with a laundry basket/a box/bag of groceries just the right way leaves dents/deep lines/dents in the 'stainless steel', more like tin can density. I am disappointed in the quality of the exterior... we don't have little kids, just every day walking through the kitchen and a slight bump damages the exterior..

Great quality and great deal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great fridge. We replaced a 20 year old unit that was on its last leg. We have been very pleased with it so far (1 month old) no problems at all. Works well with the smart things app. Lots of room for being a counter depth fridge. Only complaint is that it could have more drawers for item separation in the fridge and freezer side. Definitely worth a purchase.

Awful service, and longevity

Do not buy this refrigerator. Ice maker broke just shy of 3 years, due to motor issue. Parts are quoted at at 450, which is about 1/3 of the cost of the fridge. Samsung repair is awful, is not helpful, can't even give a quote on labor costs. Also taking out the ice box, is impossible without spilling ice everywhere.

A little too noisy

Item Arrived Damaged. Support said “oh well”

my item arrived damaged in delivery and i didnt notice because the plastic wrap covered up the damaged door. i called into support after i took off the plastic and was passed around for an hour before being told that they couldn’t do anything about cosmetic damage, even though it arrived with cosmetic damage. would not recommend samsung at all.

Coolest fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love it! Biggest fridge I have ever had so much room in the door can put gallons in there.even the really oddly shaped gallons fit. It has a digital reading of the temperature which I love. My milk is always the perfect temperature. The ice machine is actually pretty quiet while making ice and you can remove the entire tub if you want which is cool. It cubes and crushes ice and the water is perfectly chilled. So much space in the freezer as well and big door shelves I like for bagged veggies. The draws on the bottom are unique the have a little flap on the top that opens up when you pull the draw to make it more accessible to reach the stuff in the back of the draw. It is a very sharp looking fridge, I am not sure about the fingerprint resistant part but maybe i just have super sweaty hands. Way better then the last white one i had in comparison to fingerprints they are not at all noticeable. The door handles are inside between the doors and the seal is very good. Just dont open both doors at the same time will pinch your finger.
