Pre-ordered a week ago, arrived a day after launch as stated. New controller with USB-C is convenient, but if you've been in the Apple ecosystem, a lightning cable is typically on hand somewhere anyways. Anecdotally it does feel snappier. Overall, no complaints with purchase or my experience shopping/shipping.

Makes your TV display the image the way it should appear and looks more vibrant and fluid. Operates very fast and smoothly between different applications. Love this device and works perfectly with my new LG OLED 83 G4 TV. Remote actually works with my TV and the TV’s remote controls work well on the device. As with all things there are a few issues mainly with Apple software and they're mercenary policies. I own a huge collection of movies/tv series %26 music, but since I do not subscribe to Apple music, I can not use my existing play lists from my mac/ipad/iphone. There is no way to create playlist on Apple TV either. No spacial Audio without subscription even though I purchased media

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Apple TV 4K wi fi 64GB resolved all of our buffering issues. Even with a smart tv switching from cable to YouTube TV was difficult because of the constant buffering. Attaching the Apple TV resolved this and now we can switch from cable to lower cost YouTube tv!!

Apple can't seem to make a basic, simple remote without implementing touch sensitive BS to it. It works for those willing to deal with the learning curve, but accidental touching or moving of the remote causes problems. My wife hates it and always passing it off to me. Same basic, kinda boring device it's always been. We only buy these cuz we are neck deep in the itunes economy but HATE most apple products in general as they tend to be more for "techies" willing to suffer through the extra knowledge and steps needed for most aloof, somewhat user unfriendly apple devices.

I had the xfinity set top box and all of the apps were super laggy. Netflix, paramount , peacock you name it. It was horrible. Decided to dive deeper into the Apple ecosystem with this and it was worth it! All the apps run smooth and it even has xfinity stream app so I can still use my dvr and watch my channels so that’s a plus. Definitely worth the $

This was very easy to set up - especially if you already have an iPhone. It is easy to use and the videos stream quickly. The quality of the picture on the TV is great as well. I got this for a "Smart" TV where all the smart functionality was out of date so it could not connect to the internet anymore. This let me continue to use the TV to stream like normal.

Without this, getting to a channel on youtube TV, on a turned off smart TV with the apple tv app, requires 6-7 button pushes. With it, two. Streaming from a MacBook is a breeze. Now, if I could just find the clicker! Of course, Apple has way in their "find my" app.

This thing works flawlessly and is very fast and responsive. Using the smart tv features of my LG tv I found it the be very laggy and slow. I purchased this and was a huge upgrade. Well worth the money. The controller is also very cool as well and is rechargeable.

I loved the fact that the Apple TV did not in fact turn my TV into an apple but instead put Apple's Streaming Box on my TV. Flawless. Fast. Easy to set up in a couple minutes. Takes long to update than to open the box and hook it up. Interface is so fast and very little buffering. The picture is solid for watching movies.
