I like how simple it is. No ads and unnecessary clutter of apps. Because of its minimalist design, it boots up quickly and starts apps fast. My Samsung QD-OLED was cluttered and riddled with ads and lagged severely because of it. This device solved that problem. The only downside would be for people not familiar with IOS devices and that they removed the USB slot from prior versions. All in all, if you are looking for a no frills, simple streaming device, this would be perfect for you.

For those who have an iPhone or iPad. An Apple TV is a great addition. What’s to like? About an Apple TV? If you have a smart tv and a streaming service such as Sling TV and a HDMI external speaker connected to your tv you will be able to use the Apple TV remote control for all your streaming TV functions. TV on/off, volume/mute and channel guides and changes. With Sling TV accessing local channels (ABC,NBC,…) will still require your TV remote for some functions.

I ordered a NEW item here. Instead I got a return. Right away I noticed the packaging already had the famous Apple opening strip was gone. The inside power cord was wadded up, the remote covering was torn. When I hooked it up, it still had the name of the person who owned it before me along with his email address and all the names of his family members. I will be taking it back.

There are a lot of internet streaming devices and they all work as they intended. Only reason you want to fork over 100 dollars for a streaming device is improved user experience. Apple tv 4k does provide that experience. It supports both Dolby vision and hdr 10 plus. If you have Dolby vision supported tv, it is a game changer. It is a noticeable difference. Also if you have nice speaker setup, audio quality improvement is noticeable as well. For my case, it was over google chromcast. Lastly, included remote is better than its competitors as well. it is well built, has all the necessary buttons( volume, power) and rechargeable. Apple tv 4k get my highest recommendation.

Huge fan of this Apple TV, I had no idea it was so intuitive and I’ll say this that if you have already started using the Mac environment, whether for a computer laptop or iPhone, this is definitely a purchase you should consider. we use it in our dining room hooked up to a TV that we put a picture frame around and one of my favorite things is that the screensaver automatically can pull from your eye photos and will show a rolling slideshow of some of your favorite shots and always is a good talking piece during meals for our family as we reminisce about fun experiences, we’ve had . There are other products that offer similar services and are hundreds of dollars at least . Beyond that, Some of my favorite features include the ability to quickly tap the button on the side to use Siri to go to the next episode or quickly fast-forward or rewind things while watching also to quickly do a YouTube search or open an app. Also clutch because when watching YouTube, you can have Siri skip the commercials via voice, which is something that my Xbox doesn’t allow with Amazon Alexa integration. It also is great for mirroring iPhone or computer screens to quickly show someone something without having them to have to look directly at your phone screen. This comes in handy when casting meme and TikTok videos when you have friends over. Or when looking at hotel amenities when looking at vacation spots etc. The only downside I really have all considered is that the little Apple TV controller is very sensitive and if you spill anything on it, it may stop working very well. (Beware children) Also, very hard to find if not placed exactly where you know it needs to be so while having kids, this can be challenging, so I would also recommend purchasing one of these little glow-in-the-dark Sleeves so that you can try to keep your eye on it. Only downside of the controller is that it does not show you an indicator light when it’s charging which I find kind of silly. But those small inconveniences don’t even come close to bringing this down from a five star review. if you’re even considering this and already use the Mac environment, you absolutely will not regret it I promise.

Just buy it. Don’t even think about it anymore part with you cash and enjoy it. The processor is amazing. I have used the tv apps on Samsung tv, I’ve used fire stick and google chrome cast and the Roku. This blows all of them out of the water way better picture better WiFi connection etc.. literally night and day

I purchased to replace my old Apple TV that I put in my son’s room. I mostly use apple products so it was a no brainer to purchase this. I love how stream line all apple products are. Set up was a breeze and the new remote is so much better than the old one! Happy customer!

Makes your TV display the image the way it should appear and looks more vibrant and fluid. Operates very fast and smoothly between different applications. Love this device and works perfectly with my new LG OLED 83 G4 TV. Remote actually works with my TV and the TV’s remote controls work well on the device. Both ways you can’t lose, just buy it now, You’ll never look back. No regrets. A

I recently upgraded to the Apple TV 4K because my old TV's sound quality was lacking, and I wanted a simple solution without the hassle of subwoofers or multiple small speakers with tangled wires. Plus, I was tired of watching shows through my PlayStation. One of the standout features is the ability to connect Bluetooth headphones, including AirPods, which provide amazing sound quality for movies. This setup is perfect for watching films while the kids are asleep or allowing one of us to enjoy a movie while the other takes a call. The combination of Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini has significantly improved our viewing experience without the need for a new TV.

Apple can't seem to make a basic, simple remote without implementing touch sensitive BS to it. It works for those willing to deal with the learning curve, but accidental touching or moving of the remote causes problems. My wife hates it and always passing it off to me. Same basic, kinda boring device it's always been. We only buy these cuz we are neck deep in the itunes economy but HATE most apple products in general as they tend to be more for "techies" willing to suffer through the extra knowledge and steps needed for most aloof, somewhat user unfriendly apple devices.
