Remote constantly loses connection! Waited for update that was supposed to fix the issue. Download update, issue still exists. Apparently this is a known issue with the latest models and apple has yet to truly fix this. Update wasn’t released until after my return window had expired so now I’m stuck with a defective device until Apple possibly fixes the issue

I purchased to replace my old Apple TV that I put in my son’s room. I mostly use apple products so it was a no brainer to purchase this. I love how stream line all apple products are. Set up was a breeze and the new remote is so much better than the old one! Happy customer!

Being an Apple guy, I of course have to use the Apple TV. I’ve had the HD, the Gen 1 4K, and now the new Gen 3 4K. The newest Gen 3 4K is fast, colors look better, the SIRI remote is great. For someone who mainly watches streaming services, and is already an Apple user, you should get this as your OTT streamer.

Excellent streaming. So easy to set up. I’m a senior with little tech experience. I love the remote options where I can turn off the “slide” function and use the directions arrow buttons. My children gave me a quick tutorial, and now I need very little help. I decided to buy a second one for a bedroom tv. I will certainly recommend this to friends and family.

First impressions from a Roku and Fire TV user Remote control High quality material, but shape, size and sharp edges make it a lot less comfortable than Roku’s. The touch circle is too sensitive, but I expect to get used to it soon. Software, Navigation, Menus I find Roku’s menus more intuitive and easier to use right out of the box. I also expect to get used to Apple’s soon. Hardware I ordered this version by mistake expecting it to have an Ethernet port. It works well enough via WiFi once it’s streaming, but I still think that loading times would be faster with the Ethernet connection (in my 1 GB LAN). So, I have also ordered the version with the Ethernet port, but I have not received it yet. We shall see. The $20 price difference is small enough to prefer the upgraded version, given that it also has more memory (which may not make a difference for me) and other home-hub features (which I’d need to explore).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Apple TV 4K wi fi 64GB resolved all of our buffering issues. Even with a smart tv switching from cable to YouTube TV was difficult because of the constant buffering. Attaching the Apple TV resolved this and now we can switch from cable to lower cost YouTube tv!!

I love using my apple tv because it is so user friendly. I'm also an apple fanatic so that helps. The remote is the best part - it is a major upgrade from the earlier versions. Super easy to set up, just basically plug in and go. Especially easy if you have an iphone because you can open your phone and it sets it up for you.

Love everything about it compared to others. This has great quality, ability to access, music, movies, and add news channels to your liking. I am also able to download the fireplace, which is an app so that I can change two different fireplaces, such as the beach, or other areas on the main screen. Upgraded to Apple TV as an old Roku (2018 model) could not connect to 5ghz wifi and the picture was pixilated using Spectrum app. Decided to go with Apple TV pixilated images are gone. I have also played with some apps that Roku does not have like Steam Link with a ps5 controller. Seemed to work well. My only complaint is the touch pad on the remote is very sensitive. Recommend moving it to slowest setting.

When I woke up to my Apple TV dead, surely worn out, I immediately ordered a newer model and it hasn’t disappointed! AppleTV helped me cut the cord years ago! I wouldn’t own any other streaming device. I can’t imagine anyone not being pleased with this product. Try it, you’ll love it, too!
