I bought several bags of this. The water appeared black, gray and cloudy. This seemed to have a problem. I thought it was coming from my water, until I tried another brand, then I realized it was these pellets! AWFUL!

Works for the most part. We live on a well so our water can stain our tub a little yellow without the salt. When we use this, it works. My only complaint is the price has doubled over the last 5 years.

This is a commodity item and it was convenient to buy it and check out at the self check. the employee, who was monitoring the self check out, was a big help getting me checked out quickly.

Last time I bought a 40lb bag of this a few weeks ago the price was just over $7. What is going on?! It works fine, but not $40 worth fine! I'd like some answers

Bought a few and had issues with salt becoming MUSH. I've read where Sam's club had bad batches and I think this is one. As far as I know, softener is working fine.

I have used Morton Rust Remover pellets for my water softener for a number of years and have found it to be helpful in combating rust problems in my water system.

This is the only brand of rust remover pellets that really get the job done on my orange well water.

Salt is very dirty. Water is harder when we switch for this softener. We live in Florida and have well water. We will switch back to Diamond.

Works better than plain salt. However, still get rust rings in toilets. Wherever there is standing water.
