These pellets don't dissolve properly. I have to stir the pellets almost every day, and yet I still have hard water buildup. Massive letdown.

It's Softener Salt Pellets. Who Really Knows what is truly in. My Guess is salt. Why do we need to buy the stuff to put in our water is beyond me.

Walmart is, and has always been, a great place to shop. There is t much, if anything, Walmart doesn't have or have immediately available.
