Idk if this green bag is better than the reg yellow but we’ll see.

This salt really seems to remove the iron. I am pleased.

Do not order this for delivery; you must see the bag is intact and not leaking salt. Bags in bad shape delivered and made a big mess; the rocks inside cause small tears when stacked and dragged. It's a good product and cheaper than big box stores, but the logistics and material handling leads to defective merchandising in this instance. Also, delivery is not something yet figured out without major hiccups for driver and recipients...time slots are aspirational.

The two ladies brought the rock salt out on a flatbed, loaded it into our car, most efficiently, and were done in a flash. This was right before Christmas yet delivery took just moments. May God bless the hard-working, curbside personnel. Thank you!

This is the last time that I will buy this salt from Sam's. The last two times that I bought it, the salt was dirty looking and had alot of crushed pieces. I've been getting this salt at Sam's for over 10 years. It wasn't like this until my last 2 purchases. I thought maybe it was a fluke the first time but I got the same mess the second time. I'd return it but it's not worth the trouble of taking it back.

We live in an area with rust and heavy mineral deposits in the water. This particular brand of salt for the water softener prevents the nasty orange-colored build up in the toilets and the shower! Sam's Club offers THE BEST pricing on this salt as other stores often sell them for double the price!
